    I love that capturing the image is almost secondary to the journey you make getting there. I have been shooting landscapes for 25 years and have taken some beautiful photos, but what I remember most is the quiet of the morning or solitude that you have when you are just waiting for the light. It is a wonderful life changing experience. I shoot with a Mamiya 6 as well, great camera, sometimes I get out my Hasselblad and let it have some fun too.

    Hello. Your photos are incredible. I love film so much I got my first slr after shooting digital for 5 years. Do you think I can get similar looking shots with 35mm compared to medium format.

      Thank you 🙏 Depth of field is different and the scans are better from medium format.

    Nice. Number 3 for me, feels like you’ve just arrived and looked over the rock. The 4th was also a great composition, though I think I’m over blurred water, but that’s just me. Keep up the great work 👍👍

    Stephen, love the video, but how are you using a polarizer on a rangefinder camera? Is it a single density or circular

    • @StephenMilner
      @StephenMilner  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks, I use a circular polariser and I look through it to find the best position and then screw it on the lens. I have marked reference points on the polariser edge to help me make sure its in the correct position after I have screwed it on.

    Hi Stephen, just subbed to your channel and bought myself a Mamiya 6 🥳 I have found that I am hearing two sounds when pressing the shutter button. The shutter is set to /500 so it’s too quick to hear the opening and closing of the shutter as two separate sounds. Have you experienced this on your camera?
    Should there be a second sound? Has me slightly nervous but the camera is in mint condition.
    Thanks

      Thanks for joining the channel and congrats on your Mamiya 6. I hear the shutter and the sound of shutter button…
