I chuckle inside when I see potential straight males confess being in love with another man. It scared me when I realised I was inlove with all my idols, both men and women. And love doesn't have to be sexual, but it still is a form of deep love.
He was a true centre forward in the mould of The Brazilian Ronaldo. Pace, Power and Technique! Not many of those type of strikers around today. He was a top top player at Liverpool.
Torres had shooting pace dribbling and one of the best strikers of all time you were lucky if you saved shot or kept a clean sheet against we will miss you 😘 El nino
When I was younger, I used to pretend that I was Torres when I played football, used to wear the headband and all. Absolutely loved him as a kid. One of my favourite players of all time
Fernando Torres was a player that really made difference. He didn't need any chance to score. He just kept scoring from any situation. What a magnificent palyer. The best striker I've ever seen.
Henry was the PLs best ever player and Im not an arsenal fan. Shearer was the best pure striker and played in a lesser team but Torres at liverpool is right up with them.
I’m gonna disagree. Mane, Torres and Salah wouldn’t work. Somebody needs to pass the ball and those 3 don’t. Absolutely loved Torres but Suarez would be a better fit
Torres was up forward by himself against two opponents, yet somehow he made them look stupid :) Suarez was dynamite !!! Powerful fast explosive a bull at the gate ! Torres was Rembrandt a true artist as a forward :)
I am supporting LFC since 2001 and to this day, Torres is my all time favorite number 9 1. The one against Arsenal 2. The one against Blackburn 3. The goal against Man Utd, making Ferdinand look like a championship defender.
I'm on a trip down memory lane. This was the Ferguson era, we were trying but failing to compete for the top, save a handful of seasons when we made a decent push that went nowhere. Back then, we were what United are today, a club living on past laurels. Despite that, my God was it a joy to watch that boy play. Speed, explosiveness, dribbling, finishing, he had it all. A perfect striker. A regen Torres playing for Liverpool today would be one of the most prolific strikers in the world, what with the team we have now. He'd not only be on double digits every season, he'd be scoring in the 20's or 30's. I hated him when he left for Chelsea but in later years I understood the move. He was at the top of his game playing in a two man team, only him and Gerrard were stand out talents. What glimpses of brilliance we had during those mediocre days, he was a part of them. He was the player sort of started the trend, at least in the modern era, of excellent players on top of their game leaving Liverpool only to never again capture that something that made them special. The only one who survived departure was Suarez.
Fernando Torres, liverpools #9. What a fun time to be a Liverpool fan despite the struggles too. Everytime they were playing u felt like magic could happen
That last goal though... in his prime he was untouchable!! When he was sub-par; he scored the goal that knocked out Barcelona in the ECL and played a massive assist in the Iniesta World Cup winning goal! Great goal predator! Great team player! Great ambassador for No.9’s!
I think at heart, he never ceased to be a Red - the reason he didn't make it big when at Chelsea was to help LFC by preventing one of their main rivals from getting points...
Gerrard-Torres was a match made in heaven. What a pity it didn't last longer and Liverpool was not at their very best back then opposed to what they are now.
He and Suarez were my favourite players at Liverpool They would make a goal out of nothing ! Why isn't Torres every spoken about as one of the great Spanish players in his era ???? The game I always remember of Torres was the 4-0 thrashing of Man United at Old Trafford Simply marvelous :)
I never looked forward to watching United play Liverpool when they had Torres, because boy did own us LoL. I wasn’t a Liverpool supporter, but I loved watching them play when he joined the league. Could you imagine if the current Liverpool squad had a striker like this in it?
As a chelsea supposrter I will always admire liverpool that team bavk them was somethign special whenever i go to the pub for an occasion of watch them play on the news when i visited my neighbours or friends.theynhandthat speical something in them an di dont knownwhat but he was some player at the time.
at 2:20 Andriy Voronin is thinking Torres should pass to him and looked upset he didn't. At 2:25 Torres is looking at him approaching looking really fired up.

That spain team was full of Barcelona players, and Messi helped them win countless titles so Messi in that Spain team would have also won everything possible. Your comment is just so pointless mate.
I miss Torres, def one of my childhood idols

What a player....
Sincerely speaking, for a few months, in a few years, he was the best striker and even player in the world.
He was a true centre forward in the mould of The Brazilian Ronaldo. Pace, Power and Technique! Not many of those type of strikers around today. He was a top top player at Liverpool.
Hands down for a few years
Not best player 😂 Messi and Ronaldo were at their absolute peak. But yeah he was certainly the best striker in the world at his peak.
😙😙😙😘
The genie celebration Torres lol
Who else is here after he retired?? Gonna miss ya
I feel old :(
Me too...El nino at Liverpool was more than a joy to watch
@Toan Van he shouldn't be, he got chelsea through against Barcelona to win the champions league he made history
Torres had shooting pace dribbling and one of the best strikers of all time you were lucky if you saved shot or kept a clean sheet against we will miss you 😘 El nino
He’s coming back now

that knee injury killed his career...amazing player in his prime, will be remembered.
knee injuries* , fam- had surgeries on both knees in one year :( and rushed (not rested) to play for Spain in 2010 World Cup
Going to Chelsea killed his career. Not Chelsea's fault, he should have stayed another few years at Annfield. If it ain't broke..
@Artour Babiev exactly, he's like the d. rose of the football world
@@relaxbro7671 exactly it ended his career ther
@ZonaRetroHD won*
Prime torres is the first that comes to your mind when you think about a pure striker
I put Torres(when he was in Liverpool) alongside Henry and Drogba as the best strikers ever played in Premier league
Augero will be added to that club
Artour Babiev you disagree with henry pal?
Artour Babiev Henry was the best of them all only a fool would think otherwise.
Toni Georg no Shearer !!!!!
Henry was the PLs best ever player and Im not an arsenal fan. Shearer was the best pure striker and played in a lesser team but Torres at liverpool is right up with them.
What a player Fernando!! her prime was incredible 🇪🇸
and EA give his 2008 -2009 season flashback card 89 finishing, what joke.
DΛZ 80 Composure aswell complete rubbish
Check pes 20 now you can see one Torres with 98 finishing
Its absolutely criminal that Torres didnt win any trophies with liverpool, unreal player
Just imagine this Torres in today’s Liverpool 💀💀💀
that would be insane
30 goals a season easily
El bicho 7 it would have ended a debate for ballon d’or
torres, salah and mane, firmino in the midfield
I’m gonna disagree. Mane, Torres and Salah wouldn’t work. Somebody needs to pass the ball and those 3 don’t. Absolutely loved Torres but Suarez would be a better fit
He and Suarez give me goosebumps like no one else does. My two all-time favorite strikers.

He was the best no9 in the world at one point... those days were dizzy days alongside Gerrard... different levels. Complete player back then.
Wow! He was simply magnificient that time. There was some sort of swashbuckling aura to the way he played.. It always felt good and full of passion
That last goal though... in his prime he was untouchable!!

it was fabregas who played the assist for iniesta’s goal
Sin duda el Liverpool era el equipo para hacer brillar el talento de este gran jugador. ¡Vaya pases le ponían!
Este jugador era para el Real Madrid
To be better than now(Liverpool now is already very good) ...we need the CARLSBERG's aura back, written on our shirt..
we also need back torres, gerrard, kuyt, mascherano, xabi alonso and many other players, and also we need adidas 2008 kit.

Love how commentators shout "TORRESSSS!"
His finishing skills was outstanding
This is one of the best football compilations on TH-cam. It works perfectly with dizze rascle holiday. Let's get it back. Torres forever a red

The best!!
Torres in liverpool was piece of art.
Good luck on your retirement! One of the best number 9 for Liverpool!!
Torres was a classic number 9 we don't see those anymore... :(
90s kids this was our hero growing up
I think at heart, he never ceased to be a Red - the reason he didn't make it big when at Chelsea was to help LFC by preventing one of their main rivals from getting points...
so Liverpool could win the league of course...oh wait...
Was he helping liverpool when he wasnt scoring for them in the first half of the season
Wtf did I just read?
Or the injuries that crippled his pace?
Stupid comment, he is the sole reason chelsea got through to the champion leagues final and then we won it.
At his best, the greatest striker in the world !!!
Got weirdly emotional watching the Blackburn goal. I miss those days of the premier league. Better times.
Wonderful compilation. And thank you so much for not ruining your video by playing s****y music in the background (like so many others).
Gerrard-Torres was a match made in heaven. What a pity it didn't last longer and Liverpool was not at their very best back then opposed to what they are now.
God loved that duo
Imagine if Liverpool had gerrard and Torres at their prime now
Torres one of my all-time favorite Reds. And c’mon...that Gerrard assist at 0:48!
