so i tried your tricks with the handcuffs, what should I say, they work without any problems...BUT: What's with the safety lock on the "new" handcuffs, which prevent the handcuff to get tighter? You have to unlock this safety lock first before you can unlock the handcuffs. Couldn't figure out how to get rid of this with the metal pin..
the "dubble lock" is just a small pin which block the locking spring from being pushed up. in order to release it simply rotate the bobby pin counterclockwise around the center pin and you should be able to push it back (to the left) then simply open the cuff lock as shown in the video.
Raiden Hai the cuff he has does have the slide lock but obviously he doesn't know it exists or how it works. You rotate the key in the other direction to unlock it like the other comment says. Simply put pick the lock in both directions, counterclockwise first then clockwise.
Raiden Hai Maybe your pick doesn't have enough resistance and bends. If you have the room through the key hole try to push it. You could just have a newer unused spring and it takes a little more effort. That's all I got, have fun and keep practicing.

Yeah, i know how it works, but i wasn't able to get to this pin through the keyhole...i tried it in many ways but it wouldn't work so far
