Install Android 13 on Galaxy S8, S8+ & Note8

- Android 13 is finally out in its fully stable form for our Galaxy S8, S8+ and Note8. With LineageOS 20.0 custom ROM, you can experience the latest Android 13 right now on our beloved S8, S8+ and Note8. It also comes with the latest October security patch and OTA updater.

Installation Steps -
1. Boot into TWRP recovery. (Needs latest TWRP recovery for Android 13)
2. Choose Install - Install image - Flash the latest TWRP recovery. (If not already installed)
3. Boot back into TWRP recovery. (Only if coming from older TWRP version)
4. Go to Wipe - Advanced Wipe - Choose system, data, cache, dalvik cache and vendor - Swipe to Wipe.
5. Now go to Install - Choose LineageOS latest zip and latest NikGapps zip.
6. Reboot into system and enjoy.
7. Reboot back into TWRP and install latest Magisk for root access. (Optional if need Magisk and root access)

does the google app store work-update your prior android apps? will it push all your (prior) android apps back to the phone, after installing this Lineage OS ROM?

It's pretty crazy if you didn't think about it android 9,10,11,12,13, all home buttons stayed same the home buttons didn't look different since Android 8?
i install lineage os 20. selinux by default is not enable and also encryption is not enable. do you know the reason?

I can Install the linageOS and Gapps. When I tried to install Magisk I get "Invalid zip format" error. Therefore I can´t root the S8.😂

You need to unlock the OEM bootloader.

@@MohsenArzani66You need to go into settings on your device, click about, software information, then tap the build number button several times until you see that developer options is enabled. Once it is enabled, go back to settings and go to developer options, and then search for oem bootloader and enable it. Hope this was helpful, have a great day/evening/night.

there is no "android version" in "about phone". What are you talking about.? This is supposed to be about Galaxy S8.
I think you're confused between Samsung's OneUI Settings and Android stock settings. On OneUI it's under Software Information and on Stock Android it's under Android Version in About Phone section.

You mean the LineageOS OTA updates right? No it won't reset the phone.

Then if you want to install this custom ROM you'll need to wipe your storage once.
