Looks like here might be the place to start deta.space/docs/en/basics/micros#scheduled-actions You could periodically schedule a job to see if there are new records. Not quite the same as what you said but could be a possible solution to your problem
They have a really neat feature that lets you install other people apps into your own space. So it basically brings self hosting to the average person. Really neat. I wouldn't host production level code with typical backend infrastructure but it's fantastic if you want to build a quick app / API for public/private use. And it's free for now, which is very neat for people playing around / learning. But yeah, primary use case is self hosting some web apps or creating web apps to be self hosted.
By being able to install other people's apps does this mean we would expose our codebase to everyone? I still haven't got a grip of how different Deta Space is compared to lets say Vercel or Render and the others.
