It most definitely was for Moonsun! And the most fan favorite. It’s clear that it was a company decision because the album is also GGBB. I personally think that they didn’t want to be to unfamiliar with a song and to have Moonbyul as the “male role” while Solar being the “female” role might be to out of the box for conservative Korea lol. Because think of the outfits, skit/acting, and how they would have to do the cover and photos. androgynous handsome moonbyul was in the mix and even when the song portrays “Chico”, the words in Korean were geared more gender neutral.
