Adding to the cow things: A character loses the cow when he/she stops dreaming: -Jack loses the cow when he stops dreaming about an adventure and starts having a real adventure. -The Baker's Wife loses the cow when she stops dreaming about attending the festival and remembers that she has to get the things for the curse. The cow is not in Act 2, probably because the giant crushed the house where she was. This represents two things: -That the giant (literally and metaphorically) crushed and destroyed their dreams. -That Dreams are harder to make and persue in adulthood.
The audio matched you and the bakers wife matched up!? The role is calling for you!! Lol But no, I’ve never thought of this part of into the woods! Another reason! To love! My favorite musical ever!! (:
The real reason why the cape was as red as blood was because Little-Red's grandma was BLOODTHIRSTY I mean... did you see how ready she was to absolutely murder that wolf?
This is such a cool video! I love into the woods and your analysis of the colors and how the first act is childhood while the second act is adulthood is super cool. I would have never thought of this before. I think this musical isawesome because there are just so many layers and interpretations that I will never think of but love to hear about. I love Into The Woods I wish you would upload a second part!!
shit, this was genuinely really interesting. honestly surprised there isn’t much attention on it, it’s really well put together. i guess the stage show isn’t as popular, which is a real shame
Oh, thank you! I'm glad you enjoyed it. It occurs to me, I recorded a part 2, but I never finished editing it together with clips and all that, because halfway through my computer went nuts and then I gave up; I should get back on that.

I think it is la-PINE, NOT la-PEEN.
Ahhh. The funny thing is, that's how I usually pronounce it, but I second guessed myself.
