    Very nice Review. I agree concerning air pressure, to avoid damage in inner tubes. I frequently check that it is 50 PSI in both tires.
    But, I do not agree concerning cushioning capacity: I feel it very rigid even on small imperfection of road.
    I will not modify the firmware: I keep it all genuine/original, to be sure I have all "software protections" (like against over-heat of engine, or battery...) and also the maximum range the battery can give to me.
    25/26 km/h max speed on the plain but also in various "slopes" is acceptable for me!
    You did not mention if your battery capacity is still on standard condition.
    Sorry for my bad english.

    • @daveroche6522
      @daveroche6522 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Remember: air expands as it heats up - I tend to maintain the air pressure at approximately 5psi below stated max. Works fine.

    I really want to get this scooter but I am debating on it cause I have read reviews online about people having problems with the tires like getting a flat. What tempts me is the speed hack for this to make it go faster, so it's either this scooter or the HiBoy S2 Pro.

      You had better charge the lithium battery when energy below 50%. Exhausting the battery below 15% would be harmful to the lifespan of your lithium. Never deplete your lithium battery to 0%.
      The lithium battery can be recharged from 500 to 1000 times depending upon the manufacturers. M365 Pro could be adopting LG battery. Panasonic battery is the best.

    REC Anything.....there is a much neater way of lowering the footstand rather than taping something to the bottom of it. Simply unscrew the stand and place a spacer between the stand and the bottom of the scooter. Make sure it is not too thick (maybe up to 5mm) otherwise you will need to purchase longer bolts to hold it in place.

    @davidbolha 4 ปีที่แล้ว

    Hi,
    My experience with the Xiaomi m365 PRO has just been outright awful since of its purchase in March (I think) this year. 😠😤😒😞
    My rear tire/tube has been now punctured more then 10 times. So that now I'm forced to try the solid tire before getting rid of the scooter alltogether. With the stock factory CST tube I ruptured it (single ride, 2 holes) only after taking it for a spin on my second run. So probably not even less then 30 km was on the odometer.
    After those 2 initial small holes they just kept on getting bigger & bigger (in terms of length) after each flat that I had. So much so that my (initially smaller) tire patches could not even cover them. After about 200/250 km my stock CST tube just gave up. The tear from those 2 initial holes, which were several cm apart, eventually joined together. The entire length became about a quarter long of the entire circumference of the tube. 😨
    After that I decided to buy a whole bunch of spare tubes off eBay (4 pairs) to compensate & be future ready. They were gemeric ones, not branded. I also bought myself one of those tire liner thingies too. The ones that look red & 2 sets of those almost white transparent silicone types. The tubes & the liners came quick so I wasn't waiting long.
    Still I got again 2 punctures on a single ride. Just like with the first stock tube. However this time the punctures happened on the sides of the tube. Not where the tire liner was. I patched the holes up & decided to add a 2nd layer of tire liners in my rear tire but positioning them differently. 😕
    I basically cut a whole bunch of small sections from a single tire liner roll that I got. I first cut one & put it in the inner section of the tire. To see how much of a length I need to completely cover the section of the tire. So that it makes up a nice U-shape cover. Then I cut the rest according to the first one. I made sure that one section overlaped onto the next one about 5 mm before using general transparent duct tape to join those 2 section together.
    I ended up with about 3 overlapping sections that I then put into the tire. Even with that strategy I still got a rupture (that I patched later on). Which is damn near impossible as the entire tube was protected from the outside intrusions. 🤕
    2 days ago I got another 2 ruptures that I patched up after a ride less then 10 km long. However this time about 4 days ago I added about 60 g (roughly 2 ounces) of that green Slime liquid into the rear tube. It didn't patch up those 2 holes by the way.
    There was a lot of fizzing & liquid was oozing out where the brass input nozzle comes out from the hole on the aluminum rim of the wheel. When I took everything apart (outer tire, inner tube & rim) there was that green liquid everywhere. So I had to clean that out as well. Also I had to push out the remaining liquid that was in the tube as well. 😒
    I already ordered the solid tire about 14 days ago. Yesterday I got the spare rear aluminum rim wheel that I ordered recently. I'm still waiting on a pair of brake discs (with 5 screws) as well.
    I think my issues are definitely weight related (107 kg) as the trajectory where I was driving all the time was 95 % asphalt. Sure there were some of those pebbles/smaller rocks on the road & they can have sharp edges & can be pointy, however this shouldn't be that much more important as the weight of the driver. 😑
    By the way after disassembling the rear wheel after my 4th rupture/flat I became a pro at this. 😃

      Dude what is your tire pressure. I bet its not right and how exactly can you get 2 punctures in one ride and on the same tire since when you get a puncture you have a flat tire and you shouldn't ride. And you should learn how to patch a tire because from what i have read you are not doing it right otherwise you wouldn't have to do it so many times and holes wouldn't expand

    • @recanything
      @recanything  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Indeed...if you don't have the right pressure all the time, the flats are highly likely to happen. I always have +3.5bar and no problem so far. I'm checking it every 2 weeks

    • @kevindarkstar
      @kevindarkstar 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Regardless of pressure you can get a flat, and 50psi sounds way too much for such a small wheel, I'd say 40psi is more likely, but in either case I'd advise putting slime in the tube to combat the problem.
