There's one thing about this game that angers me. After emotional scenes like this for this trio, we don't find out what happens to them after the events of the game. The post game files revealed that Carlos reunited with Maria, who has recovered. Junpei joined Crash Keys and both he and Akane plan on marrying after the fanatic has been stopped. Mira turned herself in for her crimes, but was broken out of jail by Sean and Eric. They plan on using the transporter to travel back in time to create a history where Mira never became a serial killer, as a form of atonement for her. There's even a file on what happened to the 1904 version of Phi. But there is no file on what happened to the members of D-Team after the game. Do Sigma and Diana get married? Does Phi live with them? Does she still call them by name, or does she now call them Mom and Dad? Does Phi keep dying her hair, or does she let her natural hair color come through? I have no clue, and it's irritating that we don't get to know.
I'm not talking about the versions of Sigma and Phi, who failed to prevent the outbreak in D-END 1. I know what happens to them. They live out their lives until April 13, 2029, when their minds switch places with the Sigma and Phi at the end of the AB Project on January 25, 2074, and thus presumably live out their lives in that desolate future. I'm talking about the versions of Sigma and Phi who succeeded. I'm talking about the versions of Sigma and Phi at the end of ZTD, in CQD-END 2. What happened to them after that? I don't know.
They don't do much future info on the D Team Family dynamics. They do show that Diana and Sigma fall in love as long as they are both alive in any history. So both the histories they have and don't have the twins. It is sort of implied that Diana follows Sigma to the moon not only to fulfill her dream, but to reunite with him. Diana tells the younger version of his consciousness on the Moon that they will meet again back when they are younger and she doesn't know him. She silences his declaration of love so the younger version of her will hear it first, and she tells him she hopes he can succeed to be with her again. Almost like she has spent the past 3 year slowly teaching Sigma how to love despite their current age on the moon. So that Diana did understand her fate on the moon and her purpose to be with him there. It is disappointing that we don't get to see how Diana, Sigma, Phi, and Delta (if he lives to help find the fanatic, which was his intention, Sigma and Delta are too similar in death game making) decide to live with the knowledge that they are all family and shared blood. It makes Phi's snips that Sigma is an old man more funny as he is her old man. I laughed when Sigma told Phi her parents must have been quite the characters. Yes she does indeed. It makes Diana's good humor at listening to them more motherly. I can't see Diana forever hating Delta, especially considering how old he is when she re-meets him and I think that is why Delta practically sighes out her title of "Mom" in one history (even if he does kill Sigma right in front of her, which leds me to believe he knows his Dad would possibly kill him, but he can't bring himself to harm his real Mom). I don't think Sigma and Phi are as forgiving but would work with him as family to fimd the fanatic, but both are more selfish assholes, so it makes sense they would hold a grudge if Delta lived.
So, uh... what memories did Phi get? She shouldn't know that they're her parents, unless she got memories from herself as a baby. Otherwise... did she get memories of them doing the do in the transporter? o_O
I guess she downloded the memories from the morphogenetic field. even if they weren't really her memories.... It is also possible that she understood everything by Diana's hug and her putting Phi's pendant as a mother's memento
at this point, none of them knew that Phi was their daughter. Phi was shocked because she probably remembered dying in the incinerator if my memory is correct.
Phi and Sigma received the same memories due to Morphogenetic Resonance. Remember that when Espers and Shifters are in close proximity, the ability to access and share memories is easier.
For all ZTD gets crapped on for its animation and COMPLEX MOTIVES, I'll always believe the D team emotional payoff justifies and redeems the entire game.
Honestly, I can't thank everyone who participated enough. I won't say I added to it because I only was supporting from the sidelines. That said, I'm fine with the animation. It was jarring for a while, but if anything, I'm extremely happy we got this game at all. It didn't become another Megaman Legends 3
Not even the awkward animation can ruin this scene.

I know right. I wanted to be satisfied with d teams ending but they didn't say what happens to them
Yeah, it is a bit of a letdown. I can think of a few reasons why they didn't explain, but bits of info would've been nice.
as u play vlr, it repeats a certain loop. Thats how it goes with phi and sigma, but we dont know much about diana after this project

DarkXaven i assume they probably live with them trying to make delta good again
3:32 Lay down, try not to cry... Cry a lot
The D Team Were a Family lol :3
I accidentally guessed these answers the first time I did this route and was really confused about what was happening
same idk but it seemed obvious for me, the answers lmao
@@ushi1276 yeah exactly
You should've morbed (jk)
I love the English voice acting done for these 3, especially for Diana. This scene is much more emotional in the englisg dub
Danytaly yeah she looks so horny
Delta reading their minds after this be like: Why wasn't I invited 😎😭
7 year later. Sigma is still a Sigma, not just a Chad.
Yeah
Touched and sorrow. Good god
Best scene in the game

I cried ... A lot ...
I still remember this moment years later
I DIDN'T WATCH THE WHOLE FRAGMENT WHEN I GOT THE ANSWERS SO I'M JUST NOW REALIZING THAT THIS 0:36 HAPPENED LIKE RIGHT BEFORE IT
So, uh... what memories did Phi get? She shouldn't know that they're her parents, unless she got memories from herself as a baby.

i wonder if only the shifter can pick the memories from other timelines... this is the effect of morphogenetic resonance right?
at this point, none of them knew that Phi was their daughter. Phi was shocked because she probably remembered dying in the incinerator if my memory is correct.
I's just a realization, she wouldn't remember anything.
Phi and Sigma received the same memories due to Morphogenetic Resonance. Remember that when Espers and Shifters are in close proximity, the ability to access and share memories is easier.

I love this scene but the fact that it looks like a poor MMD animation kinda takes away from it
CHIME FOR THE WIN!!!!! THEY MADE THIS GAME AMAZING!
@Griff - We could say that they had "Zero timme".
worth it
If the Zero Time Dilema characters were enneagram types I would guesa
1: Carlos
2:Luna
3: Sigma
4: Sean
5: Phi
6: Eric
7: Mira
8: Junpei
6: Akane
So if Phil died in one timeline and Diana and sigma gave birth to a girl named phi
Was she resurrected or something?
Phi’s background/history is really complicated 😅 basically there are multiple versions of Phi throughout time
Where in the game was the passcode found?
In the Stranded Pair ending, Diana gives Delta and Phi the Music Box and Brooch respectively. That’s the hint for this password.
this plot twist is even weaker than finding out who planted the bombs in vlr
Max Bern i will pretend just that not hear/read this
Well, yeah. I mean, we already know they are a family because of one of the D ends.
and its just as weak in the d end
@@MaxxyBee The only thing weak IS YOUR FACE!
The animation is so bad
Really is, id much prefer the original 2d style it had in the original
Can't blame them with the budget they had though
@@BiGSmoke-.- they had more money to spend on this than the original, plus this came out a good few years after the original, so its just shameful
@@FurryTycho Did they? ZTD only came out thanks to fan demand in the west from Operation Bluebird. It never would’ve gotten made without that support.
Honestly, I can't thank everyone who participated enough. I won't say I added to it because I only was supporting from the sidelines.

oh god the English Voice Acting is so cringe.
