Clydesdales are incredibly strong and so beautiful! I'll never forget the time I was lucky enough to ride a wagon pulled by one of these majestic creatures
Couple of weeks ago for first time notice one of those horse inside trailer. Upon seen him I was not able to help to scream " what a Beautiful Horse " To my Surprise the Horse Gaved a Smile like he got blush.
I am so very happy for you God bless you and be safe and enjoy when I get the chance to see 🙈 you. Take care and just saying hi from me Marie in Buena Park CA USA love you
I love the part when he says “ it’s hard not to get attached to them” . Sir you are a lucky man to get to be with them every day! Best job in the world!
@@equidaes most race horse die at a very young age from very slow and painful injuries and are forced to start hard bone crushing training at only 2 years old.
Spirit Song Please cite your sources and where you got that research. Each discipline has pros and cons. Everyone always lookd at the cons first and then begins to assume. Unfortunately in many countries though, horses are sent off to the slaughter when they’re not considered “valuable”. But that is slowly changing. Even the "failed" ones could cost you a good fortune, lel. It would be the WEISEST to just work with them and going on road trips every so often taking care of 'em.
I believe budweiser sells the horses that don't make the grade to homes they have personally approved and received references for. The cost for a Clydesdale from budweiser depends on the age and training level of the horse has attained; the average price is $5,000 for a 4 year old. Budweiser work with the horse community to find homes for the horses that didn't make the cut. So it might be a good idea emailing them and putting in an application form. It's very likely to take a while (a horse's gestation period is 11 months). However, if you are interested, start the process now, there's a better chance of being accepted and more time to fix any issues that maybe found at any home check.
As a Frisian born person I am in love with the black Frisian horses. But these horses are a very good 2nd in line. Beautiful and I'm sure very well taken care for. ❤️🇳🇱🇳🇱🌷
I have been a horse person all my life, and these horses are treated well. The only thing is that they clip their tails. It's very important not to do that to a horse because they have to swat flies during the summer and they need their tail to keep the flies from biting them. It's also a cruel thing to do because they not only cut the hair but also the bone skin and muscle of the tail. Please do not clip your horse's tail. They have it for a reason and they need it
Jillian Michelle they do that because when they pull if they have long tails one it's harder to keep it nice and because when they swat the flies they hit other horses. It also looks more professional doing the what they do
Jillian Michelle but would you risk a horses life, if the tail bun would break. The horse will be spooked, the tail will get stuck in the harness, and the horse can have major injuries, leading it to the horse being put to sleep..
the horses natural tail is like that, in almost all cases. They would not clip the tail, because it is cruel and if they did and someone found out then they could loose alot of money and thats not what they want. the horses are born like that in the majority.
Reece 20; Bay is the most common colour for a Clydesdale, there are occasionally brown Clydesdales, which are a darker brown than bays. There are also Roane Clydesdales as well as Black and very rarely Chesnut.
Hey! Sorry i’m 9 months late, but clydesdales love the cold weather. My friend has had hers for about 4 years, and every time it snows she gets super excited! They (at least the ones i’ve seen) love the snow!
I hope for a world that people who drink beer don't want there favourite company to just own and docks these beautiful creatures for literally no reason..... Beer has nothing to do with horses like what the actual fuck
bridget wilkins yes, they all do. Budweiser Clydesdales are extremely valuable even if they don't meet the "standard". This is because they are bred so well, they're healthy and strong for a very long time and generally have very good training personalities. Also, it's pretty rare for one of their Clydesdales to not bred true to standard. They only bred about 30 every year, so even if half of those weren't standard or able to be bred, that's not a ton to try to find good homes for
*Is Budweiser STILL selling their rejects and older horses to Kill Pens ~ like the ones in Louisiana and Pennsylvania? ~ are they still mutilating the bones of horses through tail-docking ~ Warm Springs Farm is a 300 acre **#HorseMill** where Budweiser's continued breeding of **#Clydesdales** ~ results in the sale of horses who do not look like the above or outlive the company’s view of their 'usefulness'. These horses are very amazing and are awesome. These animals get treated better then I do and probably 90% of the population in America. The sad part about all of this is because of simple greed these horses have to be locked up in a trailer all year long traveling across the country so humans can look at them and bring money into Budweiser, something just don’t seem right with that. Basically using animals that should be free to profit from. Yes I’m sure these animals are treated better then any wild animal but that’s not the point. The point is that these poor animals can’t Rome the land of they wanted too they have to be stuck either working or training while a rich greedy asshole gets richer from these beautiful animals. Completely ridiculous!
"They docked their tail! Animal cruelty!" There are other ways to shorten the tail without cutting it off. They clip the hair or turn the hair into a bun. Besides, these horses were bred to pull wagon. Letting your hair grow long and then getting your hair tangled in the harness or wheels is more crueler than having your hair shortened. The thought of getting your hair tangled in machinery gives me the chills. "They need that tail to swat flies! Animal cruelty!" These horses are too special to be bothered by flies. They could've used ACs during the summer where the temperature is comfortable for the horses but deadly for the flies. Besides, isn't killing flies animal cruelty? Hmm? "They need the tails to communicate! Animal cruelty!" It's not JUST the tail they use to communicate. They can use their body, ears, and sounds to communicate. It's no different from a human who lost their hearing, sight, limb movement, or voice. Horses can communicate in different ways, not just one.
Sukeban Haven except they are docked, not just having hair cut, its physically too short to not be docked.... You need to get a bachelor in zoology or something equivalent babe
Tamara jade I've seen what a clydesdale looks like with an UNDOCKED tail and a DOCKED tail very big difference adult Clydesdales have very long flowey tails but when they are docked it's short like the ones in this video
immadomenow These horses actually love working. They were bred to do it and like dogs they will miss behave and find their own work if we dont give it to them. That includes wrecking things.

I agree, if they are to be harness horses just take the time to tie up their tails, there is no need to dock them

Dave Kemp shut the fuck up
My horse has a sweating problem and he needed to drink a Guinness to help him sweat before we could get his medicine
So pretty
Why do the Clydesdales have to be brown to qualify
They need all of them to be of the same color. Why brown ? It's maybe a personal choice, idk.
Reece 20; Bay is the most common colour for a Clydesdale, there are occasionally brown Clydesdales, which are a darker brown than bays. There are also Roane Clydesdales as well as Black and very rarely Chesnut.
Can they be used for saddle
Aren't those precious horses cold in that snow?
Hey! Sorry i’m 9 months late, but clydesdales love the cold weather. My friend has had hers for about 4 years, and every time it snows she gets super excited! They (at least the ones i’ve seen) love the snow!
I'm wondering what happens to the foals that are not the standard look of Budweiser horse. 🤔
They either get kept for breeding or get sold on to other owners
I doubt it's like dog breeding were they will just euthanize them
I hope for a world that people who drink beer don't want there favourite company to just own and docks these beautiful creatures for literally no reason..... Beer has nothing to do with horses like what the actual fuck
It's just GTA V with RTX on

I've heard other Clydesdale breeders love to be able to have a Budweiser Clyde because they have such good bloodlines. They command high prices.
*sighs* I want a Clydesdale.....too bad I don't have enough money to buy one or a farm.
Martha Dwyer explain biologically what a ”good bloodline” is, in scientific terms please....
Why breed so many to get one and sell the rest. I bit like breeding dogs when there are so many to adopt.
