This is probably the best live version I’ve found on here - and I was there! Was an amazing night listening to their first album (and a few classics) live. The guitar before “we need to talk” is insane.
@@edgestar.6344 i disagree slightly, flux was a deep song for them and opened up about not wanting to be a band anymore (as a read about in NME and then talked to kele about at JKL during the four album release). With gordon and matt long gone, it just isnt bloc. Now ive been a fan since 04 and can tell you i enjoyed every album and its differences until nextwave/post four. I have since been blocked by russ and kele just for simply saying "oh how you both changed musically for the worst". Its a bummer how that bloc party app turned out too

That "we need to talk" facing the crowd gave my goosebumps. Such a communion during this track !

02STi the four era was depressing even with Matt and Gordon though, it was all falling apart, this era is a lot more refreshing for me
