    Been using this machine for over a year for my little business. Tried the Graphtec cutters, but I find this one cuts with greater accuracy using the smoothing off method versus the Graphtec, which is perfect for what I need. Love this thing!

    Hi great product. I was wondering if I can cut a 0.5mm silicon rubber with this?

      We recommend trying to cut it with a 60 degree blade. We have not tested this material.

    looking to purchase cadworx Live design program, i have a Roland GS24, do you or can you do a video on how these two link together and if it gives a perfect clean cut.

      cadworxlive is a free online artwork program - all you have to do is sign up with an email, no purchase needed. For help on linking it with your Roland GS24, you can email one of our technicians at qe@stahls.com

    Hey ! Great video. I Have recently purchase this Camm-1 GS 24 Roland cutter and it works fine except when I go to use the Optical registration system. I print out the registration marks and it doesn’t even pick up the first mark ... I noticed in other video that there is a laser that reads the marks. My machine DOES NOT show a laser to read the registration. Is there anyone that could help me figure out this problem ? I would greatly appreciate the help.

    will it cut normal paper, if yes what are the specified settings for it and what kind of blade should be used?

  • @ramble_on1
    @ramble_on1 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    Can the blade cut through the paper? I’m in plan to use Rolland printer for printing wallpaper but need the cutter to remove the white line left and right where there’s no print. So practically when I’m installing the paper to seamlessly connect panel to panel. Will this cutter remove the white line completely?

    Hi, on your video when you finished cutting, the piece of cut foil was in the front. When i finish cutting, it would roll it back. So in order to separate it i have to unload the material and cut it off then from the roll. How do I do that it remains in the front?

    Recently purchased the Toland GS 24 and I am unable to get it to cut in the Roland software. It states unable to connect to printer. Is there a fix for this?

    It is correct that the transfer foil is already on the backside of the vinyl?

    • @StahlsTV
      @StahlsTV  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      For this heat transfer vinyl - the adhesive is on the vinyl. For heat transfer foil, it is a separate product. www.stahls.com/heat-transfer-foil

    Hi what is the slowest speed on this cutter. As I use anchor T226 vinyl. Kind of a rubber vinyl. And must be cut at a very slow speed. Thankyou

    • @StahlsTV
      @StahlsTV  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      The Roland GS-24 can cut as slow as 10 CM / Sec.

    do you have automatic settings like in the cameo? looking to upgrade my cutter

    • @StahlsTV
      @StahlsTV  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      The Roland does not feature saved settings. The Graphtec CE-6000 and the CE-6000 plus have the ability to save settings in the pre-sets.

    I'm running MacOs Sierra 10.12 and Adobe Illustrator CC 2015.3. I see the plugin is not compatible. Any idea when there will be a updated plugin released for Mac? This is pretty bad.

    • @stephenjones5603
      @stephenjones5603 7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You can download the Adobe creative cloud and all previous versions are still available for free as long as you have a valid subscription. You only have to go back to CC2015.2. And you still will have the newest version available. You can have both versions on your desktop if needed

    What blade depth do i need for vinyl/ sticky back plastic? same amount as the video? Some else set the machine and it cuts right though the backing into the bed of the machine! I will adjust the pressure and do a test but there is a good 4mm of blade. It has a knife blade 45degree i think it looks like

    • @StahlsTV
      @StahlsTV  8 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Matt- Using a 45 degree blade, I recommend keeping the blade depth at 2mm (or about half the thickness of a credit card). Adjust the force down on the machine to keep it from cutting through. Thin t-shirt vinyl cuts around 70-90 grams of force with a new blade.

    ...1/2 the thickness of a credit card would be about .5 mm...you keep saying half the thickness of a credit card about 2 mm...your credit cards are 4mm thick?

    • @StahlsTV
      @StahlsTV  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      The idea is that the blade should be barely sticking out from the holder. The actual distance should be the thickness of the film lasyer of the material you are cutting. The 1/2 of a credit card's thickness is a good estimate that's been an easy gauge for folks to understand without a micrometer. Sorry for any confusion it may have caused!

    HOW DO YOU CHANGE THE SIZE AND/OR FONT IN THE MIDDLE OF A SENTENCE?

    • @StahlsTV

      You do so in the design software you are using prior to sending to cut on the vinyl cutter.

    Will this work with Apple computer OSX 10.11?

    • @StahlsTV
      @StahlsTV  8 ปีที่แล้ว

      The Roland GS-24 will not work with an Apple computer running OSX 10.11. However, the Graphtec CE-6000 will, and it is a very similar cutter.
