Destiny 2 OOB: The Crota Boss Arena (Double IRB into Admittance)

- The absolute madlad has done it again. Mad, Henry, and jjreptile found a way into Nightmare Crota's boss arena in the pyramid ship! I cleaned up the route a bit, but finding the ghost spot for the second IRB was a pretty insane find.

The other ones probably aren't doable with IRB, unless you get some stasis nades in mid air or something. I hear there's a way to do that on Hunter, but I haven't messed with it yet...

Note: This is actually slightly easier. To set death location 2, you don't actually need the stasis crystal. You can die in air around the same location, or higher up nearby. It's death location that matters, not ghost location.
@Ryan Morford You can't do that because this is in the dungeon. There's a green barrier blocking the route to the strike, so you need to do the same earlier route to get there. I'm assuming you're talking about the path you go down for Scarlet Keep
That’s nuts. I never thought this would be possible. That second ghost placement with stasis might open up some doors for other areas in the future. Good work!
Is it possible for the final undiscovered Wish to be in a place like this or inside one of the new Vex activities?
@@Sam_Dragonborn1 if it were, it would’ve been discovered already by data miners. My guess is the wish isn’t in the game yet and will be tied to season 15
This would mean that Bungie planned an end date for the content way back when they released it, which would be a really scummy and Bungie thing to do so you're probably right.
This is very interesting, I’ve never seen the Croat boss room, but I’ve been to the Ghaul one, you can actually fight Ghaul if you go out far enough without using any res-breaches or box breaks
You can fight a nightmare Ghaul, like the one I pass by in the vid, but getting to the arena is another thing altogether. I'd be pretty impressed and confused if anyone got there without one.

wow, those tentacle effects behind Crota's sauron gate are just as ominous as the oversoul in D1.
The Mind Bender ascendant area is pretty ominous too. If only we had an auto rez in Tangled Shore...
@@Froggy618157725 I know right? I love ascendant realms. I'm also surprised Crota's arena seems linked with moon's overworld map. I thought it's files where completely separate and would never be ported, even by accident.
@@carvedearth5676 Well, it has to be in Admittance, since the game teleports you there directly in the Beyond mission. They never switch zones during a TP in Destiny 2. The Watchtower and Ghaul's ship thing are there as well. I'll try them at some point...
wow this is absolutley crazy. how in the world do you guys manage to find stuff like this lmao. and here i am spending 3 and a half weeks straight in the cistern learning how to slipstream only to realise that its not the same thing as sparrow flying
One day I'll learn how to slipstream. And then I'll go above the Atheon boss rooms XD

@@lemm4423 How far have you gotten with sparrow flying? My height and flight guide has a section on it. Can't help with slipstreaming until I get it myself though XD
@@Froggy618157725 yeah lol ive been watching it, im trying to do the infinite fly tho... its harder than just flying and pulling out your sparrow. I can get from the red plains thingie ontop of the anchor to the cistern spawn though (with a sparrow fly, my friend can do it with a slipstream).

This makes me wonder if there might be a way to IRB into King's Fall from patrol without needing to have two people, and switching to a Titan to sword fly. Like finding the right spot to rez inside The Crux loading area as a Warlock for a completely solo method.
I am just hoping these new advancement means you can do things like getting to places like the watchtower area in tangled shore or the last call area in prison of elders.
It'll get you to Watchtower on the Moon. So I guess there's that at least ;)

pretty sure it was this red at the time. I got stuck in there a few weeks ago after killing crota and it looked the same.

My game glitched out and had me stuck in Crota's room for about an hour and when I left and loaded back in, it just auto completed the rest of the mission

could you IRB in the location where the forsaken campaign takes place? or any strike specific location like the inverted spire boss room you only visit once?

Are ya saying the Inverted Spire boss is present outside of the map before the battle starts? Not sure whatcha mean for Forsaken campaign. That's mostly Tangled Shore, with a few parts in non-patrol areas, like the final mission. I don't think we have an autorez in the campaign that we know of.
@@Froggy618157725 it's possible, since he teleports to the same place OoBs after each damage phase, you can see where a few bosses teleport with anarchy or anything that can damage over time, I have a video that I'll add here showing where he goes:

Don’t you go there in the end of shadow keep? I’m pretty positive you have to do something in the Crota boss room at the end

you know whats funny is when i first did the shadowkeep campaign i killed crota really fast and soft locked the game. lol. i just explored and tried to climb to the top like back in d1 haha
How to play the raid all over again
Still don't get why you couldn't do a weak version of the actual raid for the nightmare hunt instead of the dumb arena in the crystal room. (idk what it's actually called, I just remember the room for the fact it had the crystal of crota in one of the D1 missions)

Yeah, it definitely is. It's even better there because of Warlock self rez.

There's nothing to reach. Though you might be able to get back to the starting area after going through the portal using IRB. It'd be a tough flight if it's doable though...

These are fun to watch but seriously bungie; you don't like it when players OOB but then you put uni/bi-directional holes and/or fake walls in the most accessible of spots. Even for those who don't try to OOB they still find these holes everywhere, and i mean everywhere in the most accessible of locations... "looking at you menacingly DC" with your grand doorway to the blind well and it's corresponding sidepath entrance into LW!!!
