Excellent & thanks for saving me from watching. Wasn't Golda Meir forced to resign because of failed security issues? Netanyahu must know what's coming & that's why he hangs on so desperately. In his case, an ICC trial for Genocide is warranted on top of other corruption, embezzlement trials.

Golda was never in the Holocaust as a child; she was already a woman in her 40s living in British Palestine for many years at that point.
She was talking about a pogrom against her shtetl in Czarist Ukraine when she was a little girl.

As a Jew (Who doesn't support Israel's actions at all) this video was amazing.
The amount of misinformation we're being taught in schools is absolutely heartwrenching especially when you hear it right after they speak about the holocaust.
I still think that Jews should be somewhere and not just scattered in the world (as it was proven to be a bad thing that didn't work) you simply can't "save" certain people by oppressing others.
And you don't take someone's land and justify it by saying "Well where would we be."
    Incredible video!

    • @lynnarthur_stillkickin2024
      @lynnarthur_stillkickin2024 8 หลายเดือนก่อน

Hmmm. You don’t support Israel’s actions “at all.” So you must be Jew for “Not Palestine.” But look - you don’t have to support Israel or Jews that stand with Israel. But how dare you speak for “Jews around the world.” You’ve filled your mind with the sauce of a multi-million dollar PR campaign (paid for by Iran) designed to defame Israel’s credibility - after Hamas carried out an ACTUAL GENOCIDE on as many Israelis as possible on 10/7. And I guarantee - when the investigations are finished, and Hamas is brought to trial.. then the “whole world” will understand the scum you align with. Yes! Your dwindling “movement” is a pawn for Iran - and a proxy enemy against Israel and Jews worldwide. So please…keep your damaging opinions to yourself. 😠

the yom kippur war was the most devastating war on the jewish state of israel until the october 7 massacre.
the state borders were determined in the indepence war (that also, the arab nations started) after the arabs who lived in israel refused to accept the borders that were suggested by the british mandate.
learn your history from the right sources before you beilve everything in this video.

Sadly, you are still a very misguided and misinformed Jew - who’s bought into the Palestinian “history” that’s a manufactured fairy tale (*cough lie) meant to validate Islam’s objection to Jews living in the Middle East. The young woman giving the review - starts off by criticizing the film’s lack of context for those who have no clue about the history of Israel; but then she uses the omission of facts to defame a culture that’s allegedly stolen her land and identity. For the educated, it’s obvious that she’s conveniently chosen to review the film during the current conflict in the ME - only to spread her dangerous propaganda. After all, she so smugly told her viewers, that she watched the film so “you won’t have to.” And for the ignorant OP who’s chosen to perpetuate a lie against his/her tribe…you should be ashamed of yourself.

so much interesting things you say & im learning about ~ i never understood the israel palastine situation at all until the
oct 7 attacks & start of war so i had to know what was going on as i love history & politics & learning so i read up on palestine & the creation of israel ~ up until then i was ( & still am actually ) exasperated about any & all religious wars ~
doing my research tho i thot totally no wonder palestine has a issue with israel ~
& for some reason 2 days ago the name Golda popped into my head so i went back to check the trailer of the movie ~
actually i just recalled the reason ~ a news headline about israel idf now heading into syria after hassads fall ~
after watching the trailer i wondered why israel was being attacked by arab peoples ~ so also read up about the 6 day war & the yomkipper war & the other wars in that area since WW2 & am now watching a documentary about golda meir ~
its all been such a good experience learning about history ~ & seeing once again how colonialization has really messed up the world ~ thanks for your video & i subscribed ~

Honestly, the film sounds like absurd sentimentality. The idea that HAK was swayed by sentiment in the midst of something much more strategic, which was the Arab Oil Embargo, and the need to clearly demonstrate American power in the region (which he did more directly with the Saudis) in that context is silly.
Its not only the Palestinians that were a sideshow but the Israelis as well. This is always sentimentalised by the Americans. It's worth remembering too that the then-extended Israel that came under attack in the '73 war was the product of the Israeli land grab resulting from the total rout and humiliation of the Egyptians in the '67 war -- part of Nasser's "pan-Arab" fantasies. After Suez, he thought, hey, why not, I can get away with anything now.
You might be interested in the origin of Zionism as phoney nationalism as described by Hobsbawm in his 'Age of Empire: 1875-1914.' Chapter 6 is about nationalism. Zionism was a pure genius invention out of nothing by Herzl.

Very informative analysis. And researched. What it doesn't say is that the film doesn't focus on any other part of Goldas life prior to her time as a war leader. Her childhood was marked by anti semitism and poverty which lead her to become an educated woman ( against her parents wishes) and likewise it ignores her role as an advocate for workers rights and women's rights. Much of this could have been focused on. Similarly the analysis comes to a strange conclusion. Israels' current abominations of human rights are not a call for us to reference it as a Zionist entity any more than Russias similar behavior would be a call to reference the Putin autocracy as a Slavist entity. Do do so in either case would be an act of fiction.

red flag 1: why did the war start? try to answer it yourself first, you blame the 1967 war but why did that war start either? in the end you will just get to the part where what all palestinians\arabs wants is that there is no jews left in israel and because of this they attack it time after time
red flag 2: ye because the "palestine state" wasn't really a thing and they didn't really relate to anything (judea and samara where occupied in the 1967 war just 6 years before that and gaza was still under the rule of israel)
red flag 4: the holocaust is the reason why israel was declared in the first place, if Israel had lost the war the arab nations would have kill everyone in israel that couldn't escape
red flag 5: israel is a democracy with laws and orders, the arab nation that surround it - aren't. even now we see it years later (have you seen what heppends to lgbtq+ and traitors in the arab nation? or in "palestine"? try to tell the world what a shahid is)
stop spreading lies, half truthes and misinformation
to everyone watching this video i'm asking you to do a more thorough research before you belive everything in a 7 minute youtube video (or a random youtube comment)

Not one thing you said correlates to the one after. Israel is not a jewish state, its a zionist state. Zionism was founded by athiests(Hertzl). They made deals with the Nazis(Havaara agreement) and preyed on the suffering of holocaust to acheive their imperialistic goals. Its entire purpose was to transform the jewish identity from a religious one to a nationalist one, which it succeeded, and has since been using the guise of Judaism to kill, steal, and lie to the entire world, all of which are antithietical to Jewish values

  • @evgy20

You are using the fake tearm of palasinian. Never existed. You are all just an arabs that was lived in the region of Palestine (colonial name of judea and israel), exactly like the jewish was lived there
So stop with your crying! It's a great movie. Ask yourself how arabs came to the land of Judea and israel.
