I have the same feelings as you, I'm living in South China's Guangdong province, it was very difficult for me to travel to Tibet years ago, but now with the bullet train is able to head to Lhasa I believe one day I could be there.

The closest experience i have ever had with anything Tibetan was my trip to Dharamshala last yr to attend his Holiness The Dalai Lama's buddhist teaching.
