My godfather had one, not to sure of year., in North Queensland of Australia. On the cane farm it was his main tractor, with his other a Fiat 513r. What a workhorse, till it’s day got to much in the late 80’s. Thank you for reigniting my beautiful memories ... thank you
There is still a strong market for these sort of good, solid basic tractors ............ without a load of electronics and built to last long enough to hand down to your great grandchildren!

The spring starter I didn't know about. I’ve never seen it here in Brazil. It was in this model that I ended up seeing the system and then I saw that it is very widespread in the USA. A very old technology and incredibly useful.
Have you checked the casting codes for the Tractor? Looks very smart but there are one or two points that make me think this might have been an earlier Super.

The Super major had mechanical governor white grey mudguards disc brakes and a different lift .

ahead of there time dual clutch direct injection great engines everything was great on these tractors
Nuffield had a better dual clutch, the major 2-stage pedal was never that good.

I believe the engine was a dagenheim 220. they made a 6 cyl version used in 2 ton trucks.
