Hi Richard,i have bought sets from you before for my fr1-x,is there an equivalent or similar Scottish set available for the fr1-x like in this video,it is a terrific sound
I added the "Scottish Marino" sound to the 1x sets I provide. There aren't enough user programs to do the same with the 1x, but with some extra work you can come pretty close.
I so wish I could afford a Roland, trying to learn on a heavy Sonola that needs a tune up. I'll have to start saving my pennies !

Of course, but it all depends on the style of music. I'll be posting different styles...plus, that's one of the easier things to change with just a few button presses.

Sorry, but the best I've been able to do with the 3x is to develop a "Shand Marino" musette that works pretty well. The 3x and 4x are quite different in their capabilities, and what works for the 4x doesn't necessarily work on the 3x.

Hi Richard, I really enjoy listening to your playing, I have recently bought a Fr4x but am struggling to get good Bellow control and was wondering what Bellow settings you use, I cannot seem to get a good volume balance especially when I bring the Bellows in. Your Scottish playing is Great. 🙂
Kenneth Morton hi there. I have tried all the bellows settings. I really find that the jazz setting works great with the round air release of the bass side “open” 2 clicks. Also you may consider asking Richard for his audio EQ settings. He shared them with me because I have been a customer. I think the settings make the FR4 sound way better. Hope this helps. Man I really like the Roland products.

Yes, Ashokan Farewell, the song used as the backround to the Civil War series by Ken Burns. I have a different version on youtube as well.

Yes these settings are in each of the Roland instruments that I program.
Roland FR 7? dafür gibts leider keine Ersatzteile mehr und bald wirds auch bei FR 8 keinen Service mehr geben.
