Jageshwar - Hanuman Chaleesa

Early in the morning Hanuman Pandit chants the Hanuman Chaleesa in front of a Hanuman image that one cannot even guess how old it is. This image is housed in a small temple that is part of the ancient temple complex of Jageshwar. These temples are located in a dense forest near Almora, Uttarakhand, India. The Himalayan air is crisp and fresh as these magic chants reverberate through narrow passages.
