Technology Connections went over an EM one a few weeks ago. They sure are striking. After all these years, I’ve really come to love the chimes over whatever you call the electronic sounds.
this was my first pin. 1993. started a flurry of games for me. i still have it and plays perfectly!! also have a "bows and arrows" from the same period. NOT FOR SALE. i will keep these games till i am unable to push the start button!!!!
Great to see a completely different title. This game sure has some attractive art on both playfield and backglass. Even the cab art looks good. It just needs to get back in shape, so it’s come to the right place. Thanks for all your pinball vids. They’re TNT, …dynamite.
I had that happen to me as a kid. A soda machine outside our local A & P started spitting out cans of coke. My cousin and I did what you did with a card board box that we filled with soda cans. We were about to leave when them when lo and behold a cop walked up to the both of us and said, "You boys are going to go in that store and bring those cans to the courtesy desk or I am going to arrest you for theft." Needless to say I was only allowed to keep the one can I bought that day. :-(
I have a bunch of the New Wave Toys 1/6th scale arcade games. Every new release gets more and more intricate. The newest releases (Ghosts N Goblins & Ghouls N Ghosts) both have fully functional coin mechs and include scale tokens. They have released scale change machines (both in wood grain and blue and white) and they are USB hub/chargers that can be used to charge all of their scale arcade games.
Wow! That's some remarkable accuracy in that mini vending machine. I mean they even made it so (probably) 1 out of 10 coin deposits doesn't give you a drink! I know reality was never that bad, but we all know that feeling of putting in your last $.50... and getting nothing for it.
Please the best is the smell when ya got it opened up haaa. Found one back east and had it shipped out to me in CA. My buddy and I threw many a quarter in this thing in a bowling alley in Michigan. Great game, great sound and yea the old right top scoring lane shot with all letters lit and bonus. Even when you don't do good great sound counting down points with no bonus, goes slow across the board and then the ball kick out = Classic sound for Aztec. PS: Also I know that baby was loud with the glass out !!
man if that Aztec was a car it'd be on the dealer lot already, old lady only drove it to church on Sundays. bet that play field shines up nice when y'all are done with it.
It's nice that someone sends you something. I see so many pages that are constantly begging for companies to send free stuff Grifters I hate that most of all I saw a person get a 5000 dollar electric bike and they had to show it once in a video. They really are good at grifting
All things said, that Aztec is in pretty decent shape. Just needs some deep tender love to be a star again. I seem to recall seeing you unbox the mini coke machine before, Ron. Is this a repost?
@ 10:40 is a prime example of the fact that SOLDER IS NOT GLUE! People need to make a secure mechanical connection and then, solder conductors together. If tack soldering things together worked so well, why wasn't it used in the original mass production of all radios, televisions and many other things, well, it wasn't, as this example clearly shows.
I agree with you 100%, but unfortunately this WAS used in the mass production of pinball machines. Very common problem on EM machines, the solder joints on the relays were like this from the factory...
@@LyonsArcade Ya, someone had bad work habits back then, and it worked for awhile, until it didn't. Probably one guy with bad habits "trained" some others, but stuff didn't come apart for awhile so they thought they were golden.
Love this, apperently known to be a good eraner as the ball drains quickly, looking forward to seeing if thats true, thanks huys for this video...Do you guys know of hobo shoestring,he often is near you guys on train...so always makes me think of y`all x
i played this game every day for about a year, i could "turn it over " very easily. i even sat in a wooden chair and still "turn it over" no problem. the next plan, was to put a mirror on the ceiling and lay on my back on a 4x8 sheet of plywood to see how that would turn out. some how i never got to do it;( ONE OF THE BEST PIN'S I EVER OWNED!!!!!!.
OMG that little Coke machine is 159.99 plus tax and shipping Are they CRAZY???!?? A 12V cooler is 30.00 They must be paying Coke a fee but still that's a lot of money

We're going to rebuild the chimes on Friday's video Mandy, see you then!
He also explained how a jukebox works... but I already knew EVERYTHING thanks to you!
The Aztec was my first ever EM Pinball !
This Pin kicked off my Love for repairing and Playing EM Pins and EM Arcade Machines .

I watch your videos and want to thank you! I picked up an EM machine and got everything working because of you guys. Thanks for the awesome material.
Love it Ronnie! I just finished a Williams Super-Flite from 1974, amazing how well these machines hold up.
Thanks for that shot of the front door at night! Yeah, I know I'm weird but I love liminal spaces and it's got that vibe.
Thanks Ron! Cute mini-fridge :)
Wow it's still alive
Just goes to show old things were built to last🎉

Good cop :)
Looking forward to TH-cam Smellovision! I want to smell the hot electronics too... Thanks for sharing.
This coke machine is adorable
It is a great game it was the first pinball machine I saw, played, and owned I've had mine 42 years. It has a lot of sentimental value.

Dejavu, I’ve seen that replica vending machine in a previous video already!?
Hehe. Didn't he mention Aztec in that video?

That is a great point :)

will watch this tonight!!!!!!!!!
Out Hole Relay LOL😂😂😂
That Aztec should clean up nice.
All things said, that Aztec is in pretty decent shape. Just needs some deep tender love to be a star again.

That's just crazy.
you broke the lower right bumper rubber thing.
what a great looking and potentially playing game !
Happy Thanksgiving
Yodelayheehoo
There is a diagnostic menu in the newer machines that you can make it dispense each button just from the diagnostic menu. I have seen it done.
RONNIE, anyone with 10,000 hours in something is considered an expert. Bet you are an expert! Happy Thanksgiving to you all.
super cool coke machine

You should have kept the coke machine and put it out front of your store.
It would be a great addition

Creative minds think
Unlock the hidden potential
Let the ideas soar
I played one of these in margate, one of the better machines. I don't know if it still there
Remember the really old school coke machines that just took coins and had the glass door?
Or the 6 big push button panels that had cans and took coins
Hey Ron!!
You can fix it!
Dumb Question - do you have an Amazon Affiliate link for Amazon Japan ?
Unfortunately I don't, sorry! Hopefully in the future, though, we love Japan!
@@LyonsArcade When I order stuff from the US store to come to this side of the pacific, I try to use the US link - great troubleshooting on the Aztec!
It’s not broke. Now, Joe, don’t mess up your slogan.
Very cool old timer. Came back from the dead. Fixerup you get customers lol
How much does that cost?
All pinball is great, but I do have the affliction for drop targets. Would I say no to having this? NOPE...LOL...
I would replace the entire cord with a new cord and plug
that coke machine is cool...it even steels your money just like the real thing
It looks dusty, Can you use a cleaner in there? The play field looks to need cleaning. The unit needs a Lot of TLC to get it in shape !!!
OMG that little Coke machine is 159.99 plus tax and shipping
Are they CRAZY???!??
A 12V cooler is 30.00
They must be paying Coke a fee but still that's a lot of money
do you know a place that sells the oldskool wiring ? not the fake china crap . but NOS pinball cloth wiring ?
I wanted to leave a like but it would have been 3 sixes and i aint into that. So i will check back later.
Someone else did it! Now here I am stuck with the mark of the beast!!!
I said I would check back later. Now I am like 668, much better.
Not a lot of Pop in those Poppers!
