I, too have a smaller drill press in my shop and am pretty sick of jury rigging it for those cuts with stock too big for the supplied table but too short for the fixed bottom foot shelf. I have a couple of oak 2X4 pieces which I drill into something, shut off the drill, raise the spindle with stock attached to bit, stick another 2X4 'cheater between the first 2X4 and lower the stock on it, and resume drilling. Its exhausting, to say the least! i like the idea of a table build to bridge that gap between the supplied table and the foot base. Your video gave me some hope. Most videos on YT are build-ons for the much taller table which in my opinion are a total waste of time for what I need them for. Yours is for a smaller machine, like those of us who feel the pain of 'making it fit'.

There's no riving knife on your table saw, and you're not using push blocks. Please consider the example you're setting for your viewers. Kickback kills.

I really like sliding Mechanism lof the fence. Requiring only one wing nut tighten it was a win. Other designs have 2.
