Perfect! A very simple design that serves its purpose. Thank you.
Everybody else and their dog here on TH-cam wants a table with every bell and whistle, making it way too complicated.
    Again, thank you.

So many complicated drill press tables out there, I like the simple utility of yours, especially how easily the fence attaches and tightens

I really like sliding Mechanism lof the fence. Requiring only one wing nut tighten it was a win. Other designs have 2.

Excellent I have what appears to be an almost identical drill press and I've been been thinking of similar things for a while but never thought of having the sacrificial panel. It's just what I needed to see cheers from OZ mate.

Nice video and love TH-cam's attempt to understand your accent with the auto generated subtitles 😉 watch at 1:25 with the masking tape 😂 all hail the Spoon Lord 😂

Haha hadn't noticed anyway I can't understand my self at times so TH-cam has no chance.

Anth, thanks for the great work and chronicling this build! I, too have a smaller drill press in my shop and am pretty sick of jury rigging it for those cuts with stock too big for the supplied table but too short for the fixed bottom foot shelf. I have a couple of oak 2X4 pieces which I drill into something, shut off the drill, raise the spindle with stock attached to bit, stick another 2X4 'cheater between the first 2X4 and lower the stock on it, and resume drilling. Its exhausting, to say the least! i like the idea of a table build to bridge that gap between the supplied table and the foot base. Your video gave me some hope. Most videos on YT are build-ons for the much taller table which in my opinion are a total waste of time for what I need them for. Yours is for a smaller machine, like those of us who feel the pain of 'making it fit'.

There's no riving knife on your table saw, and you're not using push blocks. Please consider the example you're setting for your viewers. Kickback kills.
