This performance is unbelievable, Biscuits energy on the drums, Mike and Dennis' roaring guitars and the bass coming through clear and powerful
I love Chucks drumming.
Gotta congratulate the camera guys for getting absolutely ZERO percent of EITHER of the guitar solos, great work fellas
LOL no shit. Horrible
Actually the TV producer was who pressed the wrong camera button 😅
my thoughts exactly
They got a better close up of the rhythm guitarist instead
when there is a solo, you should film the guitarist doing the solo, god
Mike at the peak of his powers, definitely. One of my favorite Social D performances!
Totally agree.
Great Band!
one of the best punk bands
I've seen 'em at least 15 times, With Dennis and Johnny 2 Bags, Mauer , Reed and Harding, Biscuits, Willard, Quintana & Hidalgo. Loved EVERY show and STILL continue to see 'em (Just last Sunday at the Boston House of Blues). They bring it EVERY show... No better band!
The energy in this show is incredible - no doubt. Personally, I noticed a time when, perhaps Social Distortion sounded their best during these years (with Dennis Danell still alive on rhythm guitar) and Chuck Biscuits on drums! John Maurer, the bass player, was with them for 20 years (1984-2004). Live at the Roxy came out in '98, a year after this absolutely ripping show in Germany. You can feel the passion, angst, and anger in Mike's voice and how they all play during this time. Peace, brother.
I love this song and with Chuck Biscuits on drums
One of my faves. Been watching this band since 1980 when we used to hang out and watch them practice in Fullerton,a,d Placentia CA. as young, punk rock kids!
wow man.....jealous as fuck here....brilliant band...MLM album was my fave record in 1983
It's nice being old sometimes isn't it? I've been able to see quite a few Bay Area bands while they were practicing and playing local gigs like the Gilman
bullshit
I've been listen to Social Distortion since the early 80s . We would go to Godzilla's in Sun Valley and Saw many great shows . Social Distortion , Bad Bad Religion , Mau maus , 45 grave . But Social D is my all time favorite band after the Ramones . I got a big ole mean tattoo on my left leg with the Social Distortion logo and my favorite song Story of my life ! That what's called dedication .
still in my TOP 100 Album charts . Great singer and great Band . Listen to them since the 80ties !
Person Of Interest when were the eighty ties?
Hey y'all I'm listening to the greatest shit of punk rock. God bless Mike Ness.
Greatest Anthem you never heard! Has all the angst we need and who better bring it to us then Mike Ness. Embrace this song and make it a part of your daily morning mantra! Thank you Ness!

Many song have great life lesson messages! Skelly rules!
Best... Song... Ever.
There is literally nothing cooler than Mike Ness in 1996
Well I do believe he rivals Johnny cash ( cash edging slightly ) but the coolest man in history was Dean Martin .. he just viewed the world through a cool perspective ...
Yep there is, Johnny Cash in ‘56, Merle Haggard in ‘68 or Waylon Jennings in 1972.
Well....me driving my 66 in 96 listening to social df was pretty cool..... at least I thought was 😎
THE BEST THEY EVER WERE OR WILL BE 🎶🎸🖤!!!!!!!!!!
Mike Ness is a Boss!
Great song!
RIP Dennis Danell :(
You really hear the bass here. Sounds fucking awesome. This is the band the cool kids like
Chuck Biscuits on drums
RIP Dave Mirra

This ain’t about him
@@winstonnian same here man. I had this ps1 demo disc that had DM on it, and it had 2 tracks of music that influenced my young teenage life at the time...this one and Sublime's What I Got. Played that demo til I got the real game at Christmas 1999...miss those days!!!
Camera was spot on when it comes to avoid recording the solos.
all of them are laying it down.....chuck putting on a clinic and on fire
LOVE THIS SONG!!! LOVE THIS FUCKIN BAND!!!!

@thetornprince138 Amen, EXCELLENT videos!
I also think that just this song is meant to be angry and that Mike also feels very strongly about it.

❤
With all of the Bullshit going on now, this song is even better and more relevant than ever!!
Does anyone know what happened to Biscuits? He was a great drummer, but the way he does it must be disastrous to his body in the long run..
there’s a tendency of concert cameramen/editors to show the rhythm guitarist during a guitar solo being played off-screen. I’m beginning to think it’s intentional and their sort of sense of humor.
Chuck Biscuits - He likes to break shit
Just the guys jamming out at practice
Unimprovable Leyend.
Dont drag me down illuminati 😂
@fredcore2k1
Chuck Biscuits is still alive
Evan Dando walks in in the middle of the song? lool
Sounds so good on the album , so bad live
What’s with the random lost stoner roaming the stage? lol.
Ha! That’s Evan Dando!
Mike looks tough as shit.
I do double tailwhips to dis.
Chucky Biquits!

Who did the solo?
Anyone know what Les Paul, year and make, that Dennis was playing?
Richard Mechikoff the Les Paul Dennis was playing is a vintage 1970s who gives a fucking shit.
Robert Goldman People who like guitars maybe?
It's a Gibson Les Paul Special, no idea the year.
classic amateur concert filmmaking, show everybody playing except the dude shredding the killer solo
