    Thank you for another great tutorial and great explanations. 5310 Farrow Rd, Columbia, SC 29203As a new interlocker, I appreciate the demonstrations of the different tools used for the locks. Due to MY clumsiness, I think I'll stick with your hook needle demonstration because of the extra clap on a crochet hook to secure the lock. Thanks a bunch. 🤗

      Oh boy. You might be stuck with it. You can try smooth it out. Also as u get new growth you can try to pull the knot down on a wash day when it’s wet. Try to never do it so tight.

    Hello, how many locs do you have? Did you start from two strand twist or coils? How do you do the ones in the back? I like your size locs.

    • @GlamNaturalLife
      @GlamNaturalLife  4 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Lateasha Davis I hun. I gave about 110 now or 108. I combined a few later on. I started with two strand twist and started interlocking a year later I think. For the back it’s really a feel game and paying attention. Next time I interlock my hair I will do it from the back. I never thought to show that

    • @lateashadavis2189
      @lateashadavis2189 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      GlamNaturalLife thank you. I had small comb coils put in at a shop 2 months ago right before the quarantine but I think I asked her to do them too small. It was 145 coils and my hair is on the thin side. They probably would have been fine but I just took them out and put two strand twist in myself. But I can’t part and some came out too big so there are now only 57 twists. I think I have to redo the back to make them smaller, but I can’t see. I was going for 100 twists. I think I want to interlock once I get it right so they can stay in longer.

    Do u have any tips for puffyness like the tips are locked but the middle part is puffy

    • @GlamNaturalLife
      @GlamNaturalLife  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      It’s probably just budding and will get harder over time. To help it you can palm roll the middle where it’s puffy or you can take the frizz in that area and wrap it around the loc in that area

    • @GlamNaturalLife
      @GlamNaturalLife  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes this method would be great for your hair or any loose texture hair that won’t lock easy the traditional way. I do prefer to use the locking needle tool than this hook. look in description for link to my original interlocking video using the needle. Good luck on your interlocking journey
