I've been on the Brunswick to Rockland run they used to do. Down to Rockland, back to Brunswick, and up to Augusta. Loved crossing the Carleton Bridge. Really beautiful scenery! I took my mother-in-law law, on mother's day. She had been reminiscing about going from Fort Fairfield to Bangor with her Mom when she was a little girl, so, I told her I had a surprise for her, get up early on Saturday, I'm going to take you out for the day. She was so tickled!!

Can't go 90 on the Rockland branch. 45 max in certain sections. Besides, tourists don't want to see Maine at 90 MPH. LOL It would only take about 40 minutes to get from Brunswick, to Union station in Rockland if the train could go 90.

It's high speed rail but due to all the curves they mostly keep it around 40 mph

AWESOME video....! That train is nothing but 100% pure class. Thanks to the heros who keep it rolling. I have ah hunch that the list is long.

Pretty sure 60 mph... but there are too many curves for that kind of speed on this line

Well now we know where the Vermonter baggage cars have been hiding all these years.
