The Supervet Noel Fitzpatrick Opens Up On Losing His Furry Friend | This Morning

The man who revolutionised veterinary science in the UK, supervet Noel Fitzpatrick is on the sofa to talk about his new book 'Keira and Me’. A guaranteed tearjerker, Noel’s first illustrated book charts the powerful bond between himself and his beloved dog Keira. Noel can also talk about his recent children’s book ‘The Super Pets’ (and Me!), and about balancing his life as a practising vet whilst travelling the country with his stage show, in which he shares the lessons he’s learnt from the many four-legged friends he’s encountered over the years.

You can't compare the love you get from a dog to a family member. Family members hurt you, lie to you, betray you and their love is most definitely conditional. The love you share with your dog is the most pure and beautiful of all. Nothing compares to it. I'm literally still on this earth because of my beautiful boy. He is my everything. He kept me here when I lost my first dog. Humans hurt you. Dogs don't. Totally different relationship. Can't be compared. ❤

My heart goes out to you Noel as I have just lost my 14 year old much loved Border Terrier called Dora and we miss her very much .She was our constant companion who gave us that wonderful, complete unconditional love.

My younger brother Patrick and I got a black Labrador retriever pitbull mix named Maggie from the Oregon humane society back on June 22nd 2013 she was 9 years old we had her for 5 wonderful years until August 20th 2018 when she passed away from cancer she was 14 years old when she passed away 😢💔
