Hi Blade, I have a problem every 2 /3 months with my gate motor. It's about 100 meter from the house and it seems lightning or at times Eskom comes in on 1 phase, is the main problem. An electrician told me to unplug the earth wire as this will help the motor not getting damaged by lightning. I am so fed up, spending a R1000 +every couple of months. For farm security I need a working motor.

Hi Daniel, thanks for the video's they are still very informative. The gate motor fuse keeps blowing on my D5. Only started yesterday, raining quite a bit here....not sure if its related....Anyway after the 16 amp slow blow was blown I could only find 15 or 20 amp fuses...I used the 15 and it instantly went through 3 of the 15 amp fuses yesterday and today, literally after installing and opening once. Going to try and find 16 amp slow blows today. But is this normal? Any bright ideas? Thanks again for the content, very helpful so far.

    Greetings everyone!
Especially “Blade” for an exceptional video series on wiring basics for the Centurion D3 and D5 Series. I have an ongoing issue I am trying to fix and no one seems to be able to help me. Here in SA with our ongoing power outs I have a problem with my AIPHONE Model MK - 1GD which is connected to my Centurion Gate Motor. Every time we have a power out and the power comes back on, my gate opens!? (This is not only frustrating but also a security issue during the late night or early hours of the morning). Obviously there is something with the wiring causing this and whether it can be resolved or not is the question. Any help would be appreciated.
    Many thanks.

What you name "AC input" even on board marked as "DC IN" :) (see under pins)
It's left unexplained HOW "negative trigger" should work - is it short impulse or it should be ON permanently? (until gates slide)
Also nothing about IRB, FRX, LED, PED, LCK, SET pins. At least some short description could be nice. BTW I saw IRB & LCK pins were connected to "COM" (minus) - what for?
