Nope, the runes, even when equipped, always counted to the inventry space. Also on the US server one of the best ways to farm extra money AFK was to just kill bosses on auto and later sell the runes, so there more inventory helps maybe to get some more gold.
Tip : if you come back and see a lot runes lying on the ground, don't go to town to sell them, go to the next fishing NPC. Then when you go back to your farming spot you will pick up all the runes from the ground.
Thankfully we get now more gold, and also skystones, from helping in the Rupture dungeons, but there you have to be of course always have a look onto the game.

Do you recommend buying the summoners chronicles series? All 4, for like a total or 23k crystals. But 100+ MS, 2 trans scrolls, etc?

About runes you have runes storage. Its in runes tab with 160 space

Sync your account and do the quest for it :P that's 3 free mystical scrolls a day from then on. I wonder how many runes you can get from a night of AFK farming in Rukagangma?

new subscriber here, can you tell us where to get 3star green rune? it seems impossible to get, i dont want to craft it since cube drops are rare to use for rune.
ps. its a requirement for profession upgrade
