Why wasn't American Express BlueBird card mentioned? It has no monthly fee, no minimums, free cash reloads at Walmart, has bill pay, direct deposit, etc. I think BlueBird is the best of any of them

Target has a pretty good card. Walmart is OK, I guess. And PayPal is good if you already have a PayPal account. But the card that has most definitely changed the game is Chime. I might try the Wal-Mart one with a little amount in case it is not accepted or they try to impose a subscription fee. Would be nice if there were easier ways to just put cash on a card through a cashier and be able to use it online anonymously without having them try to link a bank account or ssn to try to leech more money off you. Ce la vie. Cold hard cash for the win.

Because according on their end, paypal doesn't allow them to do it. I never had this problem with My Vanilla Prepaid and that worked like a charm. Zero buttfucking issues.

You might consider the Netspend card's pay-as-you-go plan. There's no monthly fee, but a $1.50 fee per transaction. But it sounds like you wouldn't use the card more than a couple times a month. The one question would be how you would load the card. Bank transfer is free, but a cash load will cost you a few bucks.

There is NO prepaid card that guarantees early pay. With direct deposit you may get access to your paycheck up to 2 days early. But unfortunately no guarantees.
Do you mean prepaid debit cards you can buy at CVS? If so, it depends. What I've found is that most of the cards you can get at a store come with high fees, but it really depends on the specific card.

It's a requirement of federal law. You have to have a social security number to get a reloadable prepaid card.

You'll need a social security or tax payer number for this card so it probably isn't available in India.
