- Cab View of a loaded train heading up The Bethungra Spiral, located between Junee and Cootamundra the Up Main loops around itself changing the grade from 1:40 to 1:66 meaning every 66 meters the train travels forward it climbs 1 meter rather than every 40 meters. There are two short tunnels during the climb as the track wraps under itself. The scenery at this location is incredibly beautiful with a near perfect sunset viewed around one of the many curves throughout the spiral. Hope you enjoy.
Amazing, thank you. greetings from a french train driver! its so exotic to see the job across the globe!
Love that engine rumble!
This is eerily nostalgic and beautiful
Wow This s Awesome and i Love Cab Ride!!!
Excellent night vision video from a perspective us plebs can't access, I see also the wagons are still there from last years derailment.
They sure are! not sure what the plan is for those wagons.
where in the video are they?
Around 10:46 you can see the reflecting tape on the wagons to the left, however it was too dark at that stage to capture much more on film of them.
@@south_coast_freight_ , got it.
Excellent footage!
I seem to remember a plan to add bi-directional signalling to the straight route for trains that have the motive power for it, I guess that never happened.
Good lights on loco. Poverty Queensland still has city level crossings without barriers.
what class loco you on here driver ?
Such a calm video and beautiful! Are you a driver for Pacific National btw?
3 people run this channel and we all work for separate freight operators within NSW
