First off, this is incredible playing. The speed and ferocity of the original and an incredible tribute to John Sykes.
Sykes had some amazing stuff on that Whitesnake album. He had speed, passion, but also a melodic side. Just listen to the those leads on Here I Go Again, and Is This Love. And of course he did many other great things as well. He will be missed more than people know.
