When Pummel came out in 94, I was dating my future wife. Had this CD in the changer for months. This was definitely a favorite on the CD and one that we both liked, but didn't really understand because we were in love. We later married and still listened to ALL through the years. When we divorced years later, in a conversation with her, we both reflected that now we understand every word of this song.
Believe it or not, when I met the women of my life in '92, we listened to ALL (and later this song) a lot too. We got married 10 years later and after 15 happy years of marriage,, we broke up. That's nearly two years ago now and I am still suffering badly. Have not yet discovered if it's good or bad for me, to listen to ALL; but I surely know, I can't live without it. :-) Grab a beer, listen to th-cam.com/video/VeqZnPOAeIw/w-d-xo.html and tell me how you feel! - Anyway, thanks for sharing your thoughts and GOOD LUCK! :-D
I bought the CD in 1994 at the PX in Germany because I thought the cover was cool. I didnt know anything about them. But I became and instant fan and any mixed CDs or playlists I have created since then always have some ALL tunes on it
all 3 singers of ALL are great, regardless of who they are, they give a little bit of themselves to every song they sing. Its like when you eat a potato chip, they have different flavors but they are basically just the same
Because they didn't "sell out". They love music. Its not about the money. I drank beer with Chad in Trier Germany in 2002. He sold me my hoodie. Real guys! ALL of them. When was the last time you seen a band sell their own t-shirst n paraphernalia at their own concert???? These guys are real
Met Chad once, he was nice enough to sign a shirt I was buying, after talking about some shows, he gave me the shirt for free. Everything All/ Descendents is the best, singers, albums, shows...Thanks to Bill for keeping going all these years.
If you like Chad Price, then check out his new solo album. And also, check out Drag The River! Chad is in this band with Jon Snodgrass, of Armchair Martian. Drag is one of my favorite bands from Fort Collins, CO.
We both know how hard it is for both of us to try. We both know how hot it is in Texas in July. So what am I supposed to say? How's the weather anyway?
@MsWillange - sorry but you're both wrong. During their formative period the band claimed as influences such pop-punk bands as Mr. T Experience, Radon, and Tempe's Horace Pinker. Eventually, spurred by bands such as Sunny Day Real Estate, the band began to experiment with slower tempos and more varied song structures. As they began writing songs and touring in the indie scene, the band encountered like-minded bands, such as Christie Front Drive, Sense Field, and Seven Storey Mountain, that were working on similar sounds.
i hate how everybodys comments on ALL videos are ALL about if Scott is better than can or if chad is better than Scott who cares they were all good including Dave
All never had a big Machine like a major label to push them Why are The Descendents more popular than ALL Shouldn't their popularity be equal since it;s the same band
@MsWillange well, I dont see revolution summers sound in it, but im not a great fan honestly. Thers no doubt tht modern punk came from band such as rites of spring, husker du and government issue, though

Pummel is, for me, their best work. Long Distance and Breaking Up are all time classic songs for me.
I bought it when it came out on cassette but I wore that tape out myself for like a year at least

A perfect song
all 3 singers of ALL are great, regardless of who they are, they give a little bit of themselves to every song they sing. Its like when you eat a potato chip, they have different flavors but they are basically just the same
Dude kinda sounds like greg gaffin
One of the best songs off the best album ALL ever made!
in my opinion, Stephen Egerton is the best guitarist of punk rock.
One of the greats, no doubt! Brian Baker is another great guitarist.
Stephen definitely is! In my opinion, he’s up there with Greg Ginn and Rikk Agnew. I also personally like Frank Navetta a bunch too.
Another one is Chris Hannah from Propagandhi
Br é nois
AND Karl is the best bassist in punk rock.
i need all and the descendents to feel complete

a punk masterpiece
Still one of the most awesome songs!
Muito bom.....
Parabéns 🤘🤘🤘🤘
Vídeo raro.
Se tiver a breakin Up..... curto bastante também

I live in Texas and it's hot all year long not just July
This comment didn't age so well..
@@stoneygraved what did he mean?
"so what am I supposed to say? how's the weather anyway?"
WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOW thanks !!

awesome band, awesome lyrics
Such a solid fucking song!
With a bit of research I found this on CD Universe. I was thrilled to find it.
PLEASE GOD GET ANOTHER BETTER AUDIO COPY OF THIS SONG LIVE FROM THEM! I LOVE IT STILL ;)
Awsome, been wanting to see this. beautiful song as well
Man Chad can sing, would love to see a better quality recording of this
Today if each band member doesn't look like they could be best friends you know it's manufactured. They just look cool as fuck
love this song, thanks a lot for the vid!!!!
We both know how hard it is for both of us to try.
We both know how hot it is in Texas in July.
So what am I supposed to say?
How's the weather anyway?
the 90's when every band got to be on Mtv
@TheMassNerder YES PLEASE!!!!!!!..... I don't have anything from ALL, but a lot of descendents stuff, even videos and DVDs
well, I think that ALL performed on MTV because of Green Day's popularity wich opened up the doors for punk rock being on the media in the 90's
xSergioRottenx also, they were on a tour with Bad Religion, Green Day opening for BR, All or seaweed opening for the other- 1993-1994 tour
@@aWhimTested They were signed to a major at this time.

Gregory Downey I've never heard of any of those bands...
if you wonder where the ataris, jimmy eat world and a lot more bands sound came from here it is...and they stole a lil bit from husker du as well. ;)
Back when Chad Price didn't look like a hobo
فأصبحت
dont know why this song is apparently so underestimated by the band
i hate how everybodys comments on ALL videos are ALL about if Scott is better than can or if chad is better than Scott who cares they were all good including Dave
is that Karl w/ all that hair???
Dennis Lebeau I thought the same thing 😂
@djscreaming it would suck if ALL was famous it would get boring and its cool that its ALL ours
Bold to play such a great song with a crummy hat and shirt, Chads vocals are still the best though
@djscreaming green days famous because they are on a major label ALL was but only for one album
This album would've been huge with a decent promotion. Interscope did a poor job
thats Chad.
@musicforchewfaygs I believe they were dropped due to not being the chart toppers like their contemporaries in Green Day and Offspring.
All never had a big Machine like a major label to push them
Why are The Descendents more popular than ALL
Shouldn't their popularity be equal since it;s the same band
Milo.
@MsWillange well, I dont see revolution summers sound in it, but im not a great fan honestly. Thers no doubt tht modern punk came from band such as rites of spring, husker du and government issue, though
earlier jimmy eat world was influenced by punk rock bands like propagandhi and such so im sure descedndents and all too..
what kind of bass is karl using
He was playing a G&L ASAT
It's basically a fender telecaster design.
@djscreaming Because that's how pop punk should be.
@djscreaming because ALL hasn't put out a record in 10 years and broke their major label contract after 1 album.
The drummer was also in Oingo Boingo.
all?......NO, ALL!
yeah... theres no image rock going on here- just pure and honest- ALL.
(*SIGH)... 2000's.... what a mess.
@djscreaming - because the world is backwards.
Su voz se parece un poco a greg graffin de bad religion !
@TheRyryramone milos appeal is way higher than chads
Bold to play such a great song with a crummy hat and shirt, Chads vocals are still the best though
