Thanks bro - this is so cool - a lot people worked on NGS2 and I could have not made NGS2Black without them (as mentioned in your description) - this is so cool thank you!
Fact that the dismemberment and gore looks better here, in a fan created mod, than it does on NG3RE, an actual official product, is crazy. In this mod the limbs, head and torsos, fly off in arcs, bounce on the floor, and stays aligned with it, while in Razor's Edge they fall straight down like bricks, and get stuck in the ground in awkward angles like pointing up and diagonally, sometimes clipping. Team Ninja put no care in the dismembement in Razor's Edge, just really cheaply added it to NG3 after the backlash.
@@DarkSlayerZero2000 It's just very poorly implemented and obviously tacked on for the sake of it, no thought put into it. People complained about the lack of gore and dismemberment in NG3, and they added it to RE in the laziest way possible.
I still think the spectacle in Razor's Edge is really nice despite the problems you mentioned. I wish Team Ninja would make a proper Ninja Gaiden 4 since Razor's Edge and the extra characters from the Sigma games show that they are (or were) more than capable of making a good game without our lord, Itagaki.
I literally saw this project from start to finish and could not be prouder of Fiend Busa. He did NG community a great service! And your gameplay is top notch!
@@agreedboarart3188 I know. It’s real shame. And that fact that they straight up removed content from Sigma 2, and RE, really showed how much they actually cared.

Astonishing work by the mod's team. But if comparing it side by side with the og x360 version, what wasnt beign recreated with the mod due to limitations? Only extra modes and options to avoid some arena fights or something else?
I can't believe i just discovered this just now considering i never had anything against sigma 2 considering i nevered played the original games or new of them or the series but also saw that og 2 had aspects that were way better and even i admit they look better But now with this mod i won't be ashamed of playing sigma 2 now we have this and now the game and its additional content can be more enhanced with the reintroductions of features onmitted from the original Now i have to ask are there mods that improve sigma 1 and 3 razors edge?
The creator of this mod was working on a mod for RE awhile back; not sure if he's still working on it or not tho. However, for S1 there aren't any mods to my knowledge that improve it, gameplay wise. The only thing I can think of is the NGS1 Black mod, but unlike the mod for 2, all it really does is recreate NGB's aesthetic in S1, while not making any gameplay changes. I've always liked Sigma's visuals more anyway, so the mod doesn't have much to offer me, until they find a way to skip Rachel chapters.
@@DarkSlayerZero2000Ah and a razors edge mod huh that's sweet and like you said wether he is working on it still or not it's still cool to know razors edge despite being a little better then regular 3 will be getting it's own issues ironed out to to make it even more better gameplay wise And a shame there isn't any one's for sigma 1 but hey it is what it is Also are the 2 main mods the only one's that matter to make it work or are the other mods in the description also necessary?
Yeah, sorta. The current version out now is just the alpha release, so I'm certain future updates the visual changes will be toggleable. However for the current version, to remove the graphic changes, you need to delete a handful of files in the mod folder. To restore the bloom, delete 0010.dat To restore chapter 1's lighting, delete 00063.dat 00064.dat 00065.dat To restore chapter 2's lighting, delete 00066.dat 00067.dat 00068.dat 00069.dat To restore chapter 6's lighting delete 00078.dat 00079.dat 00080.dat 00081.dat After deleting these files the game should look more like vanilla Sigma 2.
@@DarkSlayerZero2000 Whoa thanks for the long answer!! Sounds like I'd have to wait lol. I just want the higher difficulty level on the vanilla Sigma 2 with its toned down gore effect intact (IMO it suits way better with Sigma 2's more colorful aesthetics and the female chapters, and it's just visually more appealing to look at when you're doing UTs and stuff lol)
@@PlXNIN Late responds, so I'm not sure if you figured it out yet, but the blood and gore is actually not included in the NGS2B mod. It's included in the NM Plugin Mod that's required for NGS2B. You might be able to remove the blood and restore the purple effect If you go into the "plugin" folder and delete "nmeffect.dll". Then go into the "mods" folder and delete "04413.dat". I haven't tried it myself, but it's worth a shot if you're still interested in playing the NGS2B mod with the purple effects.
Try going into the "mods" folder and deleting "05387.dat". Then go into the "plugins" folder and delete "NGS2BHUD.dll". That might return the hud back to the default one. I haven't tried it myself because I'm using an older version that doesn't change the hud.

@@ebenezerstooge You're welcome. The mod does removes the bow from Ryu's back, and have it reappear when he aims and shoot arrows. That was intentional. I honestly have no idea how to show it again.
