Because their performances during this storyline and the storyline as a whole which has highlighted something that is something that actually happens a lot more than people think in this world unfortunately has been outstanding, and they both need to be recognized especially the actress who plays Frankie for what they’ve done and how they’ve handled this storyline. I hope some other British Soap Opera with a ridiculous storyline doesn’t win, like the whole pointless cult storyline playing out in Coronation Street. The main character at the lead of that storyline is not stoopid and is actually one of the most intelligent characters of that show. No way would she have fallen for all that BS she’s been told if the character was real in real life! Why the writers have d*mbed her down I’ll never understand!
Suzanne knew the whole time what was going on and ignored it, said nothing to protect Frankie or get her golden boy son JJ the help he actually needed, and still does needs. So when Frankie lashed out at her own mother Suzanne, knew why she was lashing out and acted the innocent with everyone getting upset with Frankie, not wanting Frankie to say anything to her being upset, why do you do these things to her own daughter. Every time I think of the way Suzanne treated Frankie when she lashed out, and she knew, makes me so upset. Even when JJ finally goes to jail as angry and mad as Darren is at his son he has also make certain, that he demands that his son gets the help he so clearly needs something his mother refuses to do. Suzanne does not need to be around either of the twins for a long time.
I agree, the priority is JJ serving time for what he has done but he also needs help and he should have gotten help when he was younger then none of this would have happened
He is completely sexually and psychologically obsessed with Frankie. It’s disgusting. It’s pretty clear he’s afraid of losing her. He thinks by having sex with her in his own twisted thinking she can never leave. Frankie is to loved. If not by her mom, but by her dad. He’s a real one.
They are both fantastic actors. Takes a lot of guts to play someone as evil as JJ is and takes a lot of courage for Frankie to plah the sexual abuse victim as well. These storylines are so sensetive and they have to play it right I say Frankie and JJ have got it spot on tbh ❤
I saw someone post on one of these videos yesterday saying they think the mom has got the twins to say this to get back at their dad! That could have been possibly true in the beginning if we hadn’t seen and heard from the twins themselves showing that this isn’t something the mom has gotten them to do as pay back. We’ve literally seen him SA his sister multiple times and was even almost caught by Nancy on more than one occasion, including a time where he didn’t know Nancy was asleep in the same bed as Frankie and he was about to SA her again until he pulled the covers off them and Nancy was woken up because of it! It’s also been confirmed that he’s been doing it since they were both extremely young and started after their first “school disco” I believe they call them in the UK, which is why JJ refers to the SA as that. Plus the mom admitted that she had concerns about an ex boyfriend who was also Frankie’s dance teacher could have been SA her and confronted him about it when the twins were six/seven years old and he left her because of it! So to that person who wrote that comment saying “they think their mom has got the twins to say this to get payback to their father” no this is not something that the mom has got the twins to say for payback, we’ve literally seen the brother SA his sister countless times and even @tacked her leaving her with a fractured 💀 and brain 🩸 with one of his soccer shoes that was caught on camera that Oscar found and saw by accident because she told him she was going to tell everyone what he’s been doing to her. Finally she’s told her father the truth and unlike their mom which i called multiple times that she wouldn’t believe Frankie and instead side with JJ. Their father believes her without a second thought or even questioning whether she was making it up or not because of things he’d started noticing throughout the episode. Wait until he and Nancy find out that Oscar found out the truth months ago and just as he was about to tell his parents, JJ caught him watching the footage he accidentally came across and has been bu!!ying and thre@tening Oscar to keep his mouth closed, even telling him that he would h*rt him also if he ever told anyone! And the fact that their father just thought JJ had only been touching Frankie inappropriately and JJ slipped up and mentioned the R word 100% confirmed that not only was he correct in believing Frankie straight away, but also found out that it was way worse than what he actually thought had been happening to her. All h*ll has broken loose now the truth has come out but g*d help JJ once him and Nancy find out about Oscar and what JJ has been doing to him. Not to mention what Freddie is going to do if he remembers what Frankie told him and her concerns about what she thinks JJ was planning on doing to his daughter! He did hear Frankie and woke from his coma for a brief moment when she told him before he went back into it. I think the twins father is going to make Freddie remember what Frankie said to him when his brother tells him and the rest of the family what JJ has been doing. We know the actor who plays JJ is leaving the show because of this storyline, and they’ve changed their minds about 🔥ing the actress who plays Frankie and she’s just signed a new two year contract. Hopefully the show gets it right when it comes to dealing with the aftermath of a person who’s been SA starts receiving treatment and start the road to recovery. It never fully goes away and will affect survivors for the rest of their lives, I know because I’m survivor and I still have moments even 40+ years later of what happened to me. But it does start getting easier to live with over time but you never fully heal and you never forget either! You could be okay for days, weeks, months or years and then all of a sudden someone or something like a smell or a touch in the wrong place or you’re just out in public and you see someone who looks like the person/people who did things to you will bring everything up and transport you back in time to a particular moment of one or more of times you were @bused and when it does it will take time for you to come back to the present day. It’s not a nice thing to live and deal with when that happens especially when you’ve got a family of your own but it’s something that’s completely out of your control. All you can do is seek help if you can’t do it yourself. It’s why I help other victims and survivors of SA, CA, DV and DA in my spare time. It’s something I wouldn’t wish on anyone to have to live and deal with!
