When I listen to stuff like this I seriously believe I was born 15 years later than I should, since I started djing/being seriously interested in music on the early 00s.
Heard this track first time on Stoned Chilled Groove compilation when bought it back in 2003, and it was a shorter version. This one, uncut, and now 20+ years forward - still gives me goosebumps.. and now I bought the original CD "Maiden Voyage" to add to my exquisite collection.

Music of my misspent youth in the 1990s.

Very nice. I thought they were only busy pumping out quality deep house remixes but this is on another dimension altogether.
Sooooooo gooood. Had a slightly truncated/mixed version off that Coldcut comp from the early 00s. Glad to hear the uncut version.
Thanks for the muisc!!!!!
This is so dope! Pure bliss!
And I know also a very similar song at "9:25" of Global Communication Album, it is Morning Glory of Jamiroquai
Some serious funk right here

And here I thought I had everything by GloboComm. Dammit!
It kinda sounds like Tranquility Bass stuff. It's very early '90s California Flow.

seems I've stumbled across the sample from Chameleon - Close your eyes and listen
It's originally from The Thomas Crown Affair sounndtrack
And these are actually the same guys as Chameleon.
Thnx for the post mate, I paid a bag of cash for the Chapterhouse/remix album by these dudes, worth every penny, do you have it ??
Wow, sounds a lot like Floex, might just be the use of wind instruments though.
Woow... Who are they exactly????
Mark Pritchard and Tom Middleton
