Faouzia summed it up "It's OK". The teaming up with Zhang Jie was to her eventual advantage. No one performing in this series was in it to start their career. They are all established front-line performers and this was an opportunity to showcase their talent over a long playing series of episodes (12). While in China, Faouzia performed (full set list) at two major festivals where she referred to herself as "YaYa", the name her Chinese fans call her. She also toured with her family and was greeted on the street by new Chinese fans. Then to top it off she shot a new video for a new song in Shanghi with Chinese dancers and backup and dropped the video while she was there. In addition she sang the theme song for a new Chines movie and perfomed in Mandarin for a hugh stadium audience at Mango Tv’s Youth night. She was correct to say it was OK... she got the highest recognition for a foreign participant, opened the door very wide for her to return and grow her career in China and added measurably to her marketability in China. From a career perspective she grew her career and from a business perspective she made all the right moves. Who needs to win a show title when you win the hearts of the audience. In a highly competitive industry she won on all fronts and I imagine she will get invited back in future shows as the guest star (like Dimash, Adam Lambert, and others) where she can get more acknowledgement. She displayed talent, graciousness, likeability, and all in a well spoken, humble, attractive person. This woman knows how to be a self that is wanted on all fronts. Teaming up with Zhang Jie was the icing on the cake... it showed she could perform with him in a manner compatible with Chinese pop and I'm sure she will be getting invitations, with Chinese post marks on them, to perform throughout China. Good for her!!! and everyone involved. The soft close and looks she exchanged with Zhang Jie said it all... connected in talent.

Faouzia knew well enough why she wanted Dimash to duet with her! Zhang is a good singer but not exceptional, while we saw the fire that went back and forth between Chante and Dimash in their duet. This is what lacks here and Faouzia knew it. But hey, it's the organizers who run the show and the Chinese lady who won the contest was promised an honorable goodbye party before retirement. At the end of the day, it's all just a show and all the participants are professionals, they know what they are in for, no hard feelings 🤔😊💖

@@jinghuzhang9368From my perspective Zhangs voice sounds bad with Faouzia. Talent can’t make up for a mix of voices that won’t gel in a performance.
@@mrshadyblues I just resent his criticism of Zhang. Zhang is already a very famous singer, there is no need to risk on this show. Many years ago he got a lot of criticism for participating in this show, this time he chose to go back because he appreciated faouzia's talent, he was also busy with his Bird's Nest concert, the critics were too bad

Eh, I think Zhang deserves more credit than what you are giving him. He sang in the original female key here and still managed to hold his own against Faouzia, which is honestly super impressive.
Although I do get what you mean about this performance missing that “fire”, but imo Zhang did a great job as Faouzia’s duet partner

I'm sorry, but Shante is many times better than the winner! Great, powerful voice, demeanor, chemistry...all for one artist. Dimash and Shante stuck together as a duet. Voices for both of them. And on stage they showed passion, chemistry, sparks...real artists!

@@ArohaArun right, they need to do it from time to time. But it's OBVIOUS that the winner ultimately wasn't the best, it was just for nostalgia and not for actual credit. The best in this competition was Faouzia by a mile.
The singer with Faouzia is not bad at all but he hasn't the level to suit her... Otherwise, nice song, nice singers... pretty angel smiles. It's an asian emission we can't expect to see best voice winning if its not a chinese singer but all of these singers deserves much appreciation of ours.

Хорошие голоса, но дуэта не было. Было ощущение, что каждый хотел перепеть партнера. По сравнению с Димашем и Шанти химии не случилось.
Фаузия хотела спеть с Димашем, но организаторы решили, что в дуэте с ней должен выступить китайский певец. Если с Шанти у Димаша была химия, то с Фаузией произошло бы, на мой взгляд, полное слияние голосов, душ, прекрасной внешности

She is a good singer but I have seen better. I think she still need to find her place. I think she is not a seasoned performer, she has no idea what to do with her hands on stage. She also lacks confidence and looks scared in social situations. She has a problem making strong eye contact. There is a lot that Judges judge in a competition. If she won because Demash carried her with his confidence she would never grow. Chante is a seasoned performer and she is very confident in her musical talent. That is why paired with Dimash they literally went viral. I agree with the judges.

Chante раскована, одета так, что может свободно двигаться, она в свои годы может дать молодому красивому мужчине эмоции, отразить свою и его сексуальность. Она владеет своим голосом, своим телом.
В дуэте Faousia нет артистизма. Ей нужен Dimash? Зачем? Это же конкурс, а не её хотелки. Она не вкладывается в свой дуэт, ей явно не нравится этот молодой человек, хотя у него прекрасный голос. Она даже не пытается что-то изобразить на сцене - прямая, как палка, холодная красавица как Снежная Королева. Зачем ей Димаш? Чтобы он её вытащил, чтобы он ей помог петь в дуэте? There are two older female performers on this show in particular that has depth and true gravitas to their performances. Faouzia is good but she still need a while before we can say she has gravitas that can compete with them.
This song is too sentimental for this stage of the competition. She should have gone for a tear-jerker or an up-tempo jam. HER "BAD" SONG CHOICE! Which means it was planned.
The hype of her being unfairly treated where she needs to get the sympathy of the audience to truly penetrate the market is an old trick used by the x factor for years. She is getting the sympathy and hype around her exit - mission accomplished.
So please stop with the rediculous accusations of china is racist to her in particular -_- just stop. She is pretty and light skined, and looks timid and Chinese people love this type of woman. @@Olyasha78 I’m sorry but now, believe me when I say Dimash sounded flat on the notes, because he did. Yes he’s great and all that but his performance wasn’t good at all, he’s voice didn’t accompany Chante’s voice at all, whereas Faouzia’s matched perfectly with this singer’s voice.
@@Olyasha78 Dimash isn’t good and runs and riffs and he didn’t do justice to the “lose control “ song at all, that song contains lots of runs which Dimash isn’t capable of doing. He’s voice is huge , the range is insane but he lacks technique for smooth runs and riffs
