Just finished a necklace for my daughter's wedding following this video and it turned out gorgeous. I used smoky quartz faceted rounds and citrine bicones and drops. The only place i struggled was with the montees, but that was because they were new to me. Thank you for your marvelous tutorials, you have made me excited about beading again.
still love this and have finally got around to buying the crystals to make this .Ive made earrings for myself and one of my Granddaughters .We love those .so thankyou for the idea and the tutorial
Absodoublelutely GORGIOUS!!! I've made many of your pieces. Your tutorials are very clear and easy to follow. Thank you so much for sharing your lovely talent with the world!!!
Priya, my iPad closes the reply box as soon as I open it in your comment box. I don't know why?.? It does that to comments every now and then lately. So, I will respond here. I did have nice Holidays and hope you did also. I am very happy you like the videos and appreciate your kind comment!
STUNNING! you amaze me !Its unreal how you use simple beads to make luxurious looking pieces. You are the best ive seen on the tube and inspired me to create again xox
Fabulous! That's my goal, inspiration. I think sometime we just need a little nudge, then the creative juices can flow. Thank for you for the kind comment!
hi Gina , hope you n your family had a blessed holiday. This necklace is super wow , i want to have this made for Valentines day , i have made many pieces from ur tutorials, thank you for the time n effort tht u put to making these work of art n sharing ur gift with all of us.God bless u n ur family always. ps -i love anything tht spells bling , n there is no one better than you to pack on the punch😄
Made your Christmas party necklace and earrings for my daughter in law.. She loved them so much. I made a set in black and white, which is lovely.. keep doing what you do, Gina, we are in thrall to you,lol Marion from England
Awe Shucks! ☺️ thank you, I am never sure what everyone is going to like, I just try different stuff so there is something for all different tastes. I am happy to hear you and your daughter in law enjoyed the Christmas Party Set!
Hi Fina, Happy New Year. I hope you and your family had a wonderful holiday season. You remembered about the extension of Fireline! Thank you, thank you. No one else melts the ends to ensure they don't slide apart which has always been my problem. it's a beautiful necklace and I really like the clasp you picked it went beautifully with the project. It's another year and I can't wait for what you have instore for us to create. As always you did a great job and it is lovely.
Hi Barb, nice to see you, always enjoy your comments. Yes, you must burn Fireline to join it, if not it just tying a knot and THAT doesn't work. But a square knot slid together with melted stops is always strong. Also the ends of your cut-off thread is important to melt so it stays put. I am glad you like this one. Happy New Year, I am going to try to bring lots of new designs to the table this year!😀
I think this is beautiful Gina thank you for this beautiful tutorial. I have not made any of your utube tutorials because I am afraid that I am not sure if I can really use it or not. In fact there are a lot of different tutorials on utube that I like and I have not made any of them for the same reason. But I do love watching your videos to learn how to make your beautiful necklaces and bracelets and earrings etc. So I just watch your videos.
+Cindy Smith Well, I think that is great. Watching is a great way to get your own ideas, maybe make something you can use. Regardless if you make the jewelry or not I am happy to know you are watching.💕
I bought mine from Firemountain, but I am not sure where you would find them in England. I would think a bead supplier there should have something comparable.
Oh! Gina, this Necklace is absolutely Gorgeous and Feminine,i Love it,Thank you so much for this Fabulous Gift & you really are an amazing Designer my friend, luv Ya xoxox
Yes Gina,Thank you for asking & you have you had a nice Holidays? I start your Stunning Necklace last night and i'm shure it's very pretty to wear,i love it! Thank »You my friend xoxo

Happy New Year !!!!!!! :-) , Fantastic Tutorial Gina, just love this design a good stash buster Happy Days. Hope this is the first of many more this year hehehehehe, you know i love you :-) Xxxx
Hi Gina! You are truly blessed to have such creative talent! I've pictured a necklace like this but couldn't bring it together..... thank you so much. Just a question, could you use the montees that criss cross on the bottom, or maybe even a bicone? I'm just trying to use up beads that I have on hand! 😊.
G'Day My Long Lost Friend, Now all is "right with the world" as you are back creating!!!!!!! Have missed you over the last several weeks and to come back with such a beautiful design "is simply out of this world and is a little bit of fabulous". Hope that you retrieved the last post I sent you as I gave the information that you asked for about yours/mine winning necklace. Let me know if you didn't receive it and I will resend it to you. I am now into doing (and learning how to do ) bead Embroidery ... I find it fascinating and challenging for my little grey cells. Do you know how to do "diagonal weave". I have some one (on TH-cam) who does it but she doesn't speak English and moves so fast that's it's hard to follow and I have to stop and start so many times to work out what she means. She only does a small section and I find it hard to pick up to continue. I have done a small piece but it took a long time to do and then when I need to repeat the pattern I get "lost". I am so spoiled as I am used to teachers speaking and slowly showing me how to do it. I am also wanting to know that after beading onto stiff backing, you then use ultra suede to finish it. I am finding it very hard to buy it as it's way to expensive for me (due to my small budget) could I use stiffen felt. I know it wouldn't be a professional look. Any suggestions from my wise and wonderful teacher? Have you thought of doing some bead Embroidery pieces..... just a thought? Did you get to make your Pavlova and if you did how did it go? Hope you had a magical Christmas and a swinging new year eve's. I am looking forward to a year full of laughter, writing long novels (to you) and enjoying many hours of exploring the magical world of beading with you and all the other fabulous ladies that join us on your posts. Kisses for your sons and the girls send Hunter big sloppy doggy licks and Blessings to you my little bit of fabulous......XXOOX
Hi Chris, I did dig your message. Out of the trash, I found several messages in there...but yeah, I found it and your list of colors and the request for a diagonal netting tutorial. I have done a diagonal netting, I. Did it for a contest...will have to see if I can remember what I did. Then I will design something with it. Anyway, nice to hear from you...happy new year!
+Gina's Gem Creations I would like to see your master piece and did you win? I'm thanking you a head of time for (hopefully) doing and showing me how to do diagonal weave. Have you done any beaded Embroidery and if so I would also like to see it. May be you do a special video of some of your more complicated design pieces....now that indeed would be "a little bit of fabulous"!!!!!!!!
It's still being judged, it's in the second round of judging. Maybe, it will do well, don't know. I will send you a picture in an email of it. I haven't put it out there on my page or channel. When the contest is done I will show it more. And yes, I will work on something soon with diagonal netting.
+Gina's Gem Creations Will keep my fingers crossed for you but I am sure that you will do very well indeed. A blue ribbon for sure. Can't wait to see what you have done. I am also looking forward to your video on diagonal netting or is it weave. Got your email and I know the video you found for me... thank you. I have tried to follow her but I think I will wait for you to do your video... slow and steady and clearly shown.
I sent you pictures of the contest piece, further up the email...look back a few, or maybe further down in your inbox. Also it was a written pattern I found for you. Open the link and take a peek.
G'Day My Out Of This World Friend, I found both your emails, one I will answer here. I thought that the one you found was the one I had seen but it would seem we found different videos. The one that I found was called Kum Boncuk Kolyem and was done by Taki Tasarimlar. It was done about 3 month ago and she does several types of diagonal weave. Thank you for looking up and finding me this version of the weave. I will go back and work from the pattern. It may be easier to do and make more sense if I can combine both visual and pattern. I hope that I make sense and you can understand me but I am so excited about answering your other email.....XXXXOOX
Hi Chris, it makes perfect sense to me! I hope it helps, and if not, I will put together something in video form for you. But that one seemed pretty clear to me. I am glad you liked the other email.😀

Gina, the Alexandrite fp beads look like having an AB coating, or is that because of the lighting?
Actually, yes, I think they do have an AB coating.
Thank you so much mylady!!!

Hi again Gina,
I made it, it works up really fast and it looks fantastic! I made earrings to go with it, without the large Swarovski drop, but in stead a drop of one 6mm alexandrite fb bead. Look very pretty.
I am wondering, somewhere (in this tut or in an other one) you give instructions on how to add a new thread. Do you know about adding new thread with the help of a burning match? Ever since I saw that on TH-cam I have used that, it is a golden tip. Let me know. If you don't know about it, I'll look it up, or explain precisely how to do it.
Kind regards,
Milli.
