- This driver was tailgating the jeep, thought about using the left hand turn lane to pass, then zigged into the right lane, tailgated the van, and then whipped into the left lane when the jeep turned into the left turn lane
From the short clip, it really doesn't look like anyone did anything wrong.
At first, I thought the impatient vehicle was the van and it kind of appeared that way - with leaning into the middle lane and changing lanes twice to not get slowed down by the Jeep.
Then I saw OPs comment that the Jeep was the subject of the video, and I watched again, multiple times. Unfortunately the van obscures the Jeep for a significant amount of the video, and then when it is revealed, it doesn't appear that the Jeep did anything wrong.
It's snowing, it's the beginning of the season, there's an unpredictable van behind it. Three reasons to slow down/not aim for the max speed. Maximum speeds are for ideal conditions - clear skies, dry road, predictable traffic. None of the drivers in this video are obstructing traffic - traffic is flowing just fine.
It appears that the left signal was on well before the merge into the turning lane, albeit right on the cusp of being too early. OP's claim that the Jeep's turn signal was on for multiple blocks is not evidenced in this video.
The JEEP was driving like a complete idiot. Going slowly in the passing lane and had his turn signal on for multiple blocks. Thats a driver rightfully annoyed. The Jeep is obstructing the flow of traffic, a ticketable offense across Canada, many US states.
Hello Bently, can I use this clip in my compilation? Any comment what happened? Thanks
sure, go ahead
