Sejam felizes e vivam intensamente o amor verdadeiro.
I love your comment. Congratulations on 12 years. Next month my husband and I will have 30 years together. Your comment has inspired me to do something similar for him.
Isn’t it wonderful that Google translate can allow two strangers to briefly intersect in life?
@@patientzero5685 Fico feliz que em algum lugar alguém se inspirou com minha experiência e que também tenha uma história de amor bonita, afinal viver 30 anos ao lado de alguém não é pra qualquer casal. Desejo muitas felicidades a vocês.

It makes sense, but it's a terrible drag. 2.5 hours.
To understand the whole movie it is enough to watch the last dialogue, which lasts about 5-7 minutes (somewhere in the last 20 minutes of the movie)

This song is so insane. I heard the last minute (my favorite part), when I traveled to Greece while passing one of our favorite restaurants while visiting there. I then heard it blasting when I was rushing my younger sister to the hospital while she was telling me she loved me and while I was telling her she would be okay, thinking she was really dying. This song is every emotion I have ever felt about heartbreak, grief, and love all at once. I feel like it’s the only song that could ever give me such a feeling and I’ll never forget it nor get sick of it. Beach House, I’ll forever be indebted to you for creating the perfect masterpiece

Okay now YOURE allowed to gatekeep!

Drifting in and out
See the road you're on
You came rolling down the cheek
You say just what you need
And in between
It's never as it seems
Help me to name it
Help me to name it
If you built yourself a myth
You'd know just what to give
What comes after this
Momentary bliss
The consequence
Of what you do to me
Help me to name it
Help me to name it
Found yourself in a new direction
Arrows falling from the sun
Can you come?
Would they come to greet you?
Let you know you're not the only one
You can't keep hangin' on
To all that's dead and gone
If you built yourself a myth
You'd know just what to give
Do you lie?
Oh, let the ashes fly
Help me to name it

I believe Myth is one of those absolute perfect masterpieces that in some way always existed, they just were waiting for someone to "discover" them, and Beach House have just done that, and gave it to humanity. Thank you
hey you should look up a band called the doublejumps if you like this kind of music!!
My eyes always water when I watch this video. I got curious enough about where the original video came from. I looked up the movie, (Paris, Texas) and it turned out there was going to be a showing near me. I didn't have anyone to go with so I decided to go alone. When this scene came on during the movie, I started to hear the bell and Myth started to play in my head. I was sitting there with streams of tears that I have held back for so long (even though theater was packed, it was nice that I went alone). Just like many others, I was/am going through very confusing and scary times in my life. The movie was an amazing peace of art and life. Although, many thinks Beach House is too sad but along with the sadness, their music continues to bring so much to life.
hey you might like a band called the doublejumps if you like myth by beach house :) similar vibes but different
Same here! Never watched Paris, Texas but this music & video triggers a weird feeling of nostalgia inside of me, as if i miss a life i never lived. So strange, and yet addictive i keep coming back to this video every now and then :D
A couple of years ago, I discovered this masterpiece...Paris Texas! And since that time...every year...every single year... just before we go into the new year... I sit around 10 p.m. or so and watch this...never missed a year. Movies like this are salvation for our wounds. I was lonely the entire time, not much of friends or long-lasting companions. This film helps me to feel a little, grieve a little, and keep going one step at a time.
Also...this is the second song I heard which is combined with the scenes of this movie. The other one is from Lana Del Rey's Paris Texas, and its background music is a work by SYML. That is also, in my opinion, a very powerful and moving song.
I found this song in my second semester of freshman year in college and it was brutal. it was winter, all my HS friends found new friends, I was failing everything and overall I just felt so alone. this song and the entire depression cherry album really helped and comforted me on the days I'd just lay in bed and do nothing. this song will forever hold a special place in my heart.
where is your college bro?
I’m currently in pretty much the exact same situation you described, and your comment gives me hope that there’s a day in the future where my current struggles will become memories. Thank you for commenting that, it makes me feel much less alone

A beautiful & useful share. Thank you for being honest & vulnerable. I can remember songs that did the same for me in similar circumstances - my first semester freshman year was ... a lost year? Few memories other than pain & fear. I can so relate to your comment. This song - It inspired me to create a playlist of songs I want to catalogue for use in soundtracks of screenplays I write. So, thanks to @Cosmic Radiation for posting.

The name of this film is Paris,Texas film from Wim Wanders with Harry Dean Stanton & Nastassja Kinski (1984) Palme d'Or à Cannes, one of the best movie i've never seen, a "Pépite", great, very great!!!
Often we hold on to our past tightly, afraid it will flutter off into to the wind and chaos of time. We want these precious moments to last forever because in our memories they'll degrade and fade away into a nostalgic longing for the past This song reminds me those happy moments I shared with my deceased wife, the awkward dancing, the stupid jokes and the spirit of fun she put into all those moments we had.
Love to you both, always.

Rest peacefully my two favorite Dean's
RIP Harry Dean Stanton (older male actor in cowboy hat) (July 14, 1926 - September 15, 2017) Harry was a legendary American actor, musician, and singer. The offbeat leading man who starred in Repo Man was in many David Lynch films like "Fire Walk With Me" and "Wild At Heart" and "Lucky." For his role in Lucky, Stanton was posthumously awarded the Satellite Award in 2018 alongside Gary Oldman.
Most importantly he was Molly Ringwald's Dad in Pretty in Pink alongside Jon Cryer and Andrew McCarthy 🌸💗💗💗🎭 one of my favorite movies of all time.

May you rest in peace Mr Dean Stockwell we love you.
Many of these nostalgic old videos use footage of families with children, because having children is the thing that makes people happier than anything else in life and it shows how happy they are in these videos.
They are in bliss and at peace with themselves, a true deeper meaning and true happiness.
