Hi miss Irish good day, for me I think Dubai is the best place to to work than Singapore because mostly Singaporean are not friendly but all ,Dubai is more cheaper and friendly people thats my personal experience or opinion ,

What do you prefer tourist visa to find a job or apply online? And what is the best time to look for jobs in both countries?

singapore based here. planning for a change kasi sobrang strict na dito sa work opportunities lalo na due to covid. priority nila locals. how did you travel to Dubai from pinas? strict ba ang PH immigration at mataas ba chances for offload if they found out purpose of travel to Dubai is mag tourist and look for job?

Oh my... i also thought of doing a vlog like this... almost same track as mine... almost 6yrs ako sa Sg, then thailand 1yr, almost 3yrs dubai, then sg 1year, but i decided to go back to dubai just recently... Working in Sg is a good stepping stone for working overseas specially meron silang guidelines sa starting salary for foreigners/expats. But there are so many other factors, specially career-wise, bakit even if i was able to go back to singapore last year, i decided to leave again and go back to dubai early this year...

Db!!! Theres a lot more to say na ang hirap iexplain.. convenience wise kasi no doubt SG for the win talaga eh! 🤩🤩🤩 happy labor day!!

@@MeMyselfIrish I agree! though to be honest it is always hard for me to leave Singapore kasi sobrang attached ako sa church, madaling umuwi ng pinas if from SG, and kahit san ka pumunta parang fresh/maaliwalas ang paligid sa SG ^_^ but yung "work environment, and career," once nagtagal ka na sa SG parang dumadating na sa point na nagiging stagnant ka na sa career... kaya by my age right now, i really prefer Dubai na talaga (in contrast to how I felt 5years ago hehe)...everything you mentioned, point by point, is true... happy labor day, mga memsh!

True!!! And and and.. not saying I will never go back SG :) opportunity is always an opportunity - just have to select kung anu ang ayun sa plan mo at mga nasusulat ng kapalaran at ikot ng buwan! Hahahahaha 🥰

What’s the salary structure like in Singapore? Do you get a separate housing and transport allowance as well? Is medical insurance mandatory and is it shouldered by the company? What’s the insurance coverage like?
I’ve been here for 10 years already and looking for a change, so I’ve been looking at Singapore.
Also, what’s the difference of the treatment of Filipinos in Dubai and in Singapore? Have you encountered certain racist tendencies in either city? I’m kinda wondering if career opportunities are going to be withheld from me just because I’m Filipino. Would like to hear your opinion on that.
