As someone who's been playing for a week now, this game is hard as shit. So for him to do this much damage is absolutely crazy.
no fr. my high score for the most damage in one game is 10,000. that was hard enough. 27,000 seems impossible 😭
nah man i get 13k dmg every other match, you just gotta be really fast with reacting. once you see a flash of red just instantly dodge and boom you win the fight if you just dome the other guy with basic attacks

when you pick up the punchline book, assign it to l1 or r1, then press the button to use it :)

Bro my first hour playing I had a game with 15k dmg, and I felt like I was destroying people all game png j even had some amazing combos going! But this is a whole nother level of skill. I'm still new so I'm still learning but it's a really fun and challenging game

purple dolphin dive connect ---> jump --> follow-up move (another dolphin dive or your other strike/grab e.g spear or punchline)

At 8min 30 it wasn't a clash because he used a purple power while you used a green one.
Priority isn't color based by book color, ( in the small discription text it will tell you, if it's vicious type, etc..and go off the priority chart from there. There's green books that will out rank a purp on the priority system. Pay attention to small text when picking up books and you should be getting a lot better, real soon
