I read somewhere that Bullseye had a deal with some speedboat company and that if the couple won Bully's Star Prize, it was the speedboat, but if they didn't, they "could have won" something a little more desirable, or at least more practical, like a car or a trip.
The taller guy at the end had to almost be convinced by his mate to gamble the two shitty prizes. That Scottish woman getting only 111 for charity was embarrassing.
It would be interesting if they done a documentary on what they did with the speed boat,, Well tony it all started who would tow it down the sea , and my wife was going mad with the speed boat in the drive, it ended up a eyesore , covered in moss, then someone stole it, and the police found it 50 miles away. We had to collect it cost us 100 pounds...
Because, they were top range back then, given this was from 1981, any sort of tv back then was very expensive, most people didn't have washing machines etc
