I saw this movie on netflix and I don't get why people are hating it. is it the same as the first one absolutely not, the first movies was a love story and a redemption story with a serial killer AKA the villain. this movie essentially shows all the main characters and how all of them in some way or another are a villain. You have the billionaire badboy, you have the jealous up incoming singer, you have the naive zookeeper and you have the beautiful vixen. all of them are villains in their own way but it also tells us how we make stupid decisions when it comes to the ones we love and that in of itself is a good message. another lesson it also teaches us is to not play with the people we love cause you don't know the hole you are filling for that person in that moment. Their is a saying that says those that don't know love liken it to beauty, those that have known love liken it to uglyness.
This is not what love is any love that makes a person hallucinate and hurt women for the actions of one specific girl is not true love it's lust that's a complete monster

Arjun acted so well and john just wow top notch i don't know what critics and most people didn't like in movie. I watched today in Netflix and i like 2nd part than first.
In 2014 the concept of serial killings was new otherwise right from the start it is evident that sid is hero and ritesh is clear villian killing womens...yes songs are masterclass of that..but before the interval ritesh was caught by sid and than story was dragged as infront of sid the fight sequences are weak by ritesh..here in this part this is gripping why because we know john is villian but the entire buildup how is actually being made with twists and proper fight sequences with two proper dealdolls arjun vs john was amazing ..john has done negative after dhoom so conviencely so only little lack was songs as compared to first and little bit chemistry...otherwise story is far better than 1st as in 1st it was dragged sid beat ritesh again and again...so morons didn't like this film..as they are morons.

I personally like the story of this movie. Specially John's role I love the most because he was blindly loving her. Never cheat with the person who truly love us. John & Disha's pair is good as compare to Arjun & Taara. Galliyan returns song is good in all playlist.

Ek villain was a good movie. But if they make ek villain returns 3 . I want John and Arjun in the move..bcz ek villain. Returns is an awesome movie. And John did his role literally in a perfect way . Infact only John gave soul to this movie. Wat an acting man.. loved the cinematography in this movie
