Great job Angel once again so thorough. I also appreciate how kind and caring you are with your children. You gently explain important lessons to them such as, why texting all the time creates being antisocial, and why that's not good. Your a very good Father 🌟👍
Best tip I've picked up from seeing you work is to use the drill attachment to clean those fasteners before lossening them, it's the small things that make the biggest difference, thank you for sharing your work, and may God bless you for being such a present father to your kids.
The reason why they use different size heads is so you can use two tools from the same set instead of having to buy two wrenches the same size. Great to see you back in action!
Any decent DIYer would have more than one set of socket and wrench set. You can use a socket and wrench of the same size if both bolt and nut were the same number.
I like watching you fix other car make and models. It give us DIY fixer an idea how easy or hard my own car design when it come to replacing busted parts. Thanks Bro.
Thanks Angel. I think we have all had the jobs that fight you every step of the way. That air chisel sure helped. Good to see you back. Keep wrenching.
Great video man! I like how you work from home too many people think you need a big shop or a boat load of cash to start your own business when all you need is some drive and passion!
Hello Mr. Angel, I like watching your videos. What's unique about your videos are you show the difficulties of the jobs which makes it much more realistic. Keep up the awesome work. You're a great dad and mechanic.
The frustration was real with this one, I feel your pain. I myself live in a salty water area that eats cars with rust and a 20 job turns into an all day adventure.
Greetings from Guatemala Angel, awesome skills You show us and using the bads words, when things gone wrong or becomes tough, seasons it all. Great ! keep on wrenching.
Funny enough I actually bought this car last year. The girl moved back to Chicago, I had it for a couple months and sold it again. Worked great in the time I was driving it though! Hahah
That was a struggle bro I feel u I live in Nebraska and I have no idea how many cars I get to fix here that have rust from salt from the winter but I see how u manage to get threw hard times and good work ur videos r awesome bro and very helpful
I have an 09 corolla and had to replace my rear wheel bearings...i had to also use a chisel to seperate them from the backing plate. It was a pain in the arse when they are full of rust... great work Angel
promek17 he does great work!! But why remove so much parts! He lost all the reinforcement for pounding hub off! Just need remove brake parts, hub three bolts pound away!!
I did that same job to my 2000 Honda accord ,after I put everything together,The noise is still there so I end up replacing both front bearing.I replaced the wrong side.I learned a lesson.Make sure to determine which side is making noise.Sound can travel from left to right.
You have the best videos. I wish there were more on the xterra. You showed me how to replace my motor mounts. I did it in my driveway. Never in a million years would i have imagined myself completing that part change. I was able to thanks to your video. I have a question: how well do you think k&n air filters protect engines and would/do you use them and/or recommend them? Thank You
Thanks for taking the time to put this video together. As an older guy my knees were aching just watching you get up and down all the time! It's also refreshing to see how dedicated a father you are to your beautiful family...believe me, these days are precious, as they grow so fast. (brought back lots of memories for me) One question please..what size air compressor do you suggest for a home garage for using air wrenches etc. ? Thanks again!
Try this next time you come across that: knock out a stud... Hold a nut and washer behind the hole, and drive a bolt through the nut into the knuckle. Might have to rotate to another spot and do it a couple of times but it'll pop off without too much fight. Thanks for the video!
Great video on wheel bearing. My sienna has wheel bearing issue..... I used ur tip for this video to confirm it's a bearing issue and not transmission .... Shift in neutral ..... !
Much respect for having enough love for ur kids to guide them against the tide of cultural chaos. Giving ur kids access to the abyss of the internet at such a young age is the perfect way to lose them. You are their teacher not social media, u are their example not Hollywood, what you teach them is more important than what this perverse society says cuz NOONE CAN OR WILL LOVE THEM MORE THAN YOU! Keep it up...when they get older they'll totally understand why u did it, and I bet they can understand some of it now.
Excelente tutorial, eres formidable persona, como padre y esposo, gracias por compartir tus enseñanzas, para finalizar una remembranza. La inmortalidad se logra por lo que insiste y eres recordado, Saludos desde México cdmx.
Honesty I've not been drinking officer. Just trying to diagnose a wheel bearing. Lol Love your channel. Thanks to toe brake videos I recently did the brakes on my matrix (new caliper, pads, rotor on right, pads rotor and boots on left). In a hotel parking lot 900 miles away from home no less. But...I don't think I'm ever gonna mess with wheel bearings.
Yes absolutely You’re a great dad! love your videos making laugh when you coursing same way when I struggle with my cars. Thanks man with your great videos!
Great at 7:30 good conversation. Same way we raised our daughter. Go outside to the Playground and play with friends, besides mechanical skills good parents too. Believe me it's getting harder to arg with that my is 19 now. Keep up the good work greetings Carsten from Germany
Wish we have a mechanic like you in the area. We have a very popular “kababayan” garage mechanic in our area that doesn’t even use bungee cord or something to hang the caliper, doesn’t use torque wrench, doesn’t clean what needs to be clean (rust), use impact wrench brrrrg.. brrrrg..all the time and always in a hurry!! Replaced the front driver side wheel bearing three times. Each bearing didn’t even last 10k miles. Also ruined one of the threads of my control arm without even telling me.
Just did this and CV axle on a 2008 Duramax diesel. Had to use 6 lb hammer to get old wheel bearing assembly out. The truck came in for the wheel bearing but visual inspection showed a bad CV joint. When I got axle off, I threw it away from me and it split in mid air and exploded upon landing into 3 parts. 👎🏻 Owner called within a few minutes of leaving and told me how quiet the truck was. 👍
Thank you so much for this real vid. It reminds me of me fixing cars at the roadside and using whatever I had to get the job done. Well done mate, keep it real. Paul Blackmore
I have been watching u and learning from u on my stream TV but did not know how to connect with you every time I like everything you did, on these cars; so got on computer to find you and subscribe. I love the science behind designing cars and the science and creativity behind the tech mechanics diagnosis and repairs yet I was always intimidated and afraid of the machine mainly because I studied auto mechanic in the 70s so I was a happy shade tree mechanic then however the industry ruin the simple repairs by putting in a sensory nervous system into the car so you are a doctor physist, and tech man and engineer calculating mille amp, volts, current flow and reverse polarities, relays and ohms to the fine wave form of the oscilloscope watching you angel has given me courage to learn and grow and to study more. I have some books and manuals however you have given me courage understanding what you were doing it is awesome angel. I could not even place the activate code from the stream tv but you are a power house of courage grateful gratitude. Thank you for showing your little daughter the all inclusive attitude and love allowing her to share your work its was wonderful. The world needs fathers like you and mentors like you. You have inspired me to learn electrical diagnosis and to further care for the car. The god and angels are watching, thanks!
On this Chevy, only need to take off the axle nut and push back the axle, don't need to separate those ball john and tie rod end, after loose the three bolts on the back use slide hammer to slide the bearing out, this will safe a lot of time.
If you ever have to do this job again unscrew the 3 bolt screws about half way then knock on them with a lump/regular hammer, the hub will come away more easily. The same goes for applying the new hub, rather then using a mallet to push it in (which can sometimes damage the new bearings) use the 3 screws to pull it in by screwing them on evenly it's much easier. Good video non the less 👍
A hub puller that tightens on the hub with the axle nuts and presses the hub out from the axle is way easier to get those suckers out. Being a mechanic in NJ nothing comes out easy and everything is usually rusted lol.
Great video.. hope all is going well with the family circle...by the way,. Can't wait for the sienna timing belt change and transmission flush.. God bless
Cool channel. So I believe when a head bolt and nut combo has a different size, it's so someone with a single mech set can use two wrenches/socket combinations to loosen and tighten the nut and bolt. Like you could have used a 15mm and 16mm wrench, instead of having to find two different 15mm sized tools.
Love your videos , they show a lot of details, you are a excellent mechanic, to bad you are living in Las Vegas, keep up the great work, and have a great 2021
Bro your vids are the best repair vids on youtube. Respect on how you take the time and effort to edit and point out details. Btw I was thinking why you didn't use your air hammer but you addressed it right away. =) That wheel bearing was way easier to replace than on hondas
Father , mechanic and cooker all in one person awesome
Really like the way you make videos, straight to the point and a little more time on the frustration that sometimes comes when working on cars!
I love that you include the cursing in there, it shows how frustrating it can be to deal with rusted out cars from up north 🤣🤣🤣
Great job Angel once again so thorough. I also appreciate how kind and caring you are with your children. You gently explain important lessons to them such as, why texting all the time creates being antisocial, and why that's not good. Your a very good Father 🌟👍

Great video. You are a great Dad, too!
Great job Angel! Not having to use a press to remove and re-install the hub sure does save time!
Can’t stop watching this videos!
The reason why they use different size heads is so you can use two tools from the same set instead of having to buy two wrenches the same size. Great to see you back in action!
bill beckett : this makes sense....!!!
Any decent DIYer would have more than one set of socket and wrench set. You can use a socket and wrench of the same size if both bolt and nut were the same number.
Love the camera work! Now to go replace my front wheel bearings and make a grilled cheese sandwich!
Nice Video! Thx
Wow!. You are no. 1. Working professionally and having good tools. God bless you and your entire family's members
I live in Michigan, now you feel our pain with the rust 😄
I like watching you fix other car make and models. It give us DIY fixer an idea how easy or hard my own car design when it come to replacing busted parts. Thanks Bro.
Thanks Angel. I think we have all had the jobs that fight you every step of the way. That air chisel sure helped. Good to see you back. Keep wrenching.

MILINICH'S AUTO DETAIL thank you. Exactly brother!!
Have a great day and I appreciate the comment.
Great video Angel. When you jack up the car in your driveway it reminds me when my car rolled off the jack and almost took out the radiator.
Hello Mr. Angel, I like watching your videos. What's unique about your videos are you show the difficulties of the jobs which makes it much more realistic. Keep up the awesome work. You're a great dad and mechanic.

I love you kids. They are adorable. Your son helps you and you little girl is a princess
Thank you for taking the time to make these helpful videos. Much appreciate it and I respect you even more for being a family person.
another great day in the life of fixing cars. Great home job; living the dream! That ball joint wash totally shredded.--- next project.
Greetings from Guatemala Angel, awesome skills You show us and using the bads words, when things gone wrong or becomes tough, seasons it all. Great ! keep on wrenching.

good to hear u telling your kids not to be on devices too much.. great work on the car too.
Tried it on my car after watching this video and it was fairly simple.
The wheel bearing cameras were awesome. Thanks for your efforts Angel.
Great instructor. Can’t beat the work at home schedule!

Your videos are great for us DIY'ers. Thanks. Keep posting.
I am a mechanic and I enjoy if I work greetings from Costa Rica
Enjoy the videos!! why do you split the caliper from caliper bracket?
Great video, new subscriber. Great to see a guy juggle car repairs, kids, fixing lunch, etc.
Honesty I've not been drinking officer. Just trying to diagnose a wheel bearing. Lol

hey man you are an inspiration to me, i am just learning about auto mechanic and your videos have helped me a lot. thanks
Nice job Angel. Wow all that rust and the rotor came out just like that where you didn't have to whack it.
great video. Looks like the hub was in there good.
Yes absolutely You’re a great dad!
love your videos making laugh when you coursing same way when I struggle with my cars.

I wish you were my neighbor, everyone needs a good mechanic.
Wish we have a mechanic like you in the area. Agree, many mechanic just need hurry and can do more car....just ignore rust or loose, because not his car...
Just did this and CV axle on a 2008 Duramax diesel. Had to use 6 lb hammer to get old wheel bearing assembly out. The truck came in for the wheel bearing but visual inspection showed a bad CV joint. Gotta love the more difficult fixes.

Thank you so much for this real vid. It reminds me of me fixing cars at the roadside and using whatever I had to get the job done. Well done mate, keep it real. Paul Blackmore
Trick I do with the cans when the run out of pressure. I press the button and blow air from the compressor in using a blow gun with the ruber cone tip
arturo munoz cool, I will try that trick. Thank you for the tip. I appreciate it.
That must have been a Pennsylvania car to be that rusty! God bless you brother. You are an awesome human being!
Man I appreciate all your videos, they've helped me out so much
That car has some serious rust issues. Always a treat to pull out the air hammer for some jobs.
Rusty! I'm from Illinois and I would say that was a fine metal patina, almost New car look.
I usually put the hub nub nut on the half shaft and use a 5# hammer. It usually releases with a couple of hits.

That is on of the the toughest jobs I've seen you done and on a chevy wow

Awesome video! Tell me about it over here at illinois i have to deal with nothing but rust . But have to get the job done :)
Great reference guide for everyone.

Congrats to the winner! Great video Angel!
do you have a video on how you mounted the cameras for the wheel bearing and what kind of cameras you used?
Bro your vids are the best repair vids on youtube. Respect on how you take the time and effort to edit and point out details. Btw I was thinking why you didn't use your air hammer but you addressed it right away. =) That wheel bearing was way easier to replace than on hondas
nice job. does the vehicle need an alignment afterwards?
Love watching your videos, great job
