I finally watched a whole season where i wasn’t afraid of missing a FG or Extra Point or if Derwin is going to get hurt again. We need some big FA moves. If we are going to invest for Herbert to be our future then we need to DO IT
There’s gotta be a very good tackle that has proven himself that we can find in free agency but Telesco never spends big money on anyone. He waits until days 2 and 3 to find players. Paying our stud of a center some decent money showed just how good that works out. I think if Davis is there at 17 (wouldn’t be the first time we had a great player fall to us at 17) we gotta grab him and then get some offensive line help for the right side or go with a line backer.

I was at the last game vs Raiders in Vegas, what a game. It would've been one of the best games of the decade if we had won tbh. All those successful 4th down conversions, Crosby beating up Storm Norton on live TB, and somehow Herbert kept play alive and scored on two huge drives. We all know that 55 yard pass interference on an uncatchable ball was hog wash. If Refs hadn't called that bs flag we would've won the game.
That throw on the #1 play is unreal. The 2 deep safeties basically sagged off thinking there was no way the ball could be thrown that far AND on the money ⚡️
Just so he could take all of the intermediate routes that would be left open because of his fastball 😏 man he could screw with defenses so hard if they had a true speed guy. Get a power back and a speedster and this offense is unstoppable

Very rare to see the best 3rd down converter in just 2 years. There was no one better on 3rd downs in 2021. That was JHerb s attribute of evolving for his 2nd season. His first season was his presence of controlling game tempos. Can you imagine what is next of JHerb s game skills for 2022? He keeps amazing US so far and we all know he is also the best Long Ball Passer now and doubt another rookie or young QBs will be able to even try. If they dont have an arm it must be intimidating to be opposing QBs of Charger games..
In my opinion Keenan needs to step it up next year. He had way too many drops this year and you could see in the highlights against the Raiders everyone was happy to see the last 2 touchdowns except him. Time to stop being cocky after every catch you get and start being a team player like the rest of the team.
