Glad you enjoyed it! I completely agree. I think dazai does not help people for the sake of helping them. However, he is a very complex character and since we never once get to hear his thoughts in any of the novels, it's really hard to tell what he is thinking. He did say once that oda was right and "being on the side that helps people is much more beautiful" so I really do think he desires change. I assume he is trying his best to to live up to Oda's last wish and become a good person but with his skewed morals he doesn't always stick to those ideals for the sake of going the more "logical" route. That's why we sometimes see him sort of revert to his old ways. (like that one time he dealt with kouyou while they had her captured!)

The way you characterized everyone and every single section you shown, down from the emotions to the Dialogue to the expressions I Honestly love that you featured Master Nasume. He is ever rarely shown In most Bsd gacha reactions, His little addition made my day considering how he is one point of everything is connected. Bro beens everyone even when Dazai was given the to go work for the Armed Detective agency. Them questioning how they got the videos will always be one key point in reaction i love. You don't even see any day how it explains that natsume was the catalyst for both the Armed Detective agency, & Port mafia. Seeing Kunikida bow to him was expected 😂 Dazai's Entrance Exam Mentions(Already on a roll) When it got to the part about the Port Mafia and revealed Dazai was the youngest executive, I didn't expect that whole interaction to go so Smoothly and actually so deep. While Yosano & Kunikida was Reasonably Surprised, they kept their composure and ask actual legitimate questions that are understandable. Kunikida reaction met so much to me considering how the fandom interprets how he would react to Dazai being an executive in the mafia. Like sure, being surprised is understandable, But he and dazai's Partnership is so Wholesome to me. Kunikida wanted to believe in the person he trusted, One he trusted with his life on the field, He wanted a straight forward answer from his partner, And trusted him Instantaneously when he confirmed he isn't a spy for the port. The characterization for Kunikida is spot on🤗 But that little detail in 14:20, It's quite ironic that Chuuya was betrayed by the sheep for thinking he was a traitor to them, While Dazai was questioned and got trusted very easily. Chuuya deserve better😭✋ But my most favorite thing is how you characterize Dazai, He is giving off the same vibe He gets from the anime. Morally Grey. While I do believe Dazai is trying to change for Odasaku's Wish, He still has his morally grey Morality and also thinks logically and his unpredictable nature. While I won't discard his past actions, But I won't deny he is trying to change as well. He may not be a Very good person as Oda wishes him to be, but he's proving to be good in his own way which I find quite interesting. Dazai may always be remember as the Demon Prodigy, But if a Person like him can do good in this world despite his horrific crimes, then that should be enough from my perspective. "He doesn't have to be an Entirely good person to do the right thing." Conclusion: 100/100 Reaction, No question.

I love the fact that you included Natsume! Also I love the detail that Chuuya is not surprised by any of Dazai‘s topics. It just shows how well they know eachother also the reaction of the characters are very canon (well how I believe they would react) and their personalities just seem very similar to the original series. Also did you maybe read the light novels? It just seems so accurate that I just can‘t suspect it. And if you didn‘t it would even more impressive that you could get a gasp of these characters so well. Thank you for this video and I really hope you‘ll make a second part.

I would love to see a part two! only if you want to, of course, but i love this type of thing! All the edits are fresh; i haven't seen any of them in a react video like this before, and i love that instead of having some handwavey "creator" explain things, the characters involved answer questions themselves! On top of that, the character interactions as a whole are entertaining and in character, too. Great job!
