Note: The train labeled as D795 is actually B702. This was a great chase to do, between the grade, heavy train, and old Western Maryland artifacts found along the route. Enjoy!
Fantastic Video! Sanding the hill is such a cool operation! I must ask, where abouts are those old abandoned signals located? I cant seem to find the mon google maps.
Man! Boring at points. Your camera doesn’t record sound very well. Never record at a grade crossing because the train horn drowns out the roar of the Diesel engine. That’s what everyone wants to hear on these older units because the new diesels suck! No one likes a diesel that hardly makes a sound. Also those last 3 units are SD45’s not 40’s! Today’s cheapo camera don’t capture the lower bass tones of these engines roaring. It picks up high pitch tones like the horn and the damn wheels squeeling on the rails. It’s such a shame. The video equipment from the 1960’s in 8 and 32 MM film was 100 times better quality than today’s China junk!
The sound of horsepower in its purest form

Great job showing regional railroad action and EMDs
Thanks!
Very nice video. Great chase!
Thanks dude!
Why is the old W.M. signel flashing green when a train is approaching in the other direction?
That is my question as well..Greetings and thanks from Germany !
Great video. Some neat catches here, with them running light to HF, some ex-Winchester & Western hoppers on the front of B702 and the full HF shuffle
Thanks!
Great chase! Enjoyed watching it!
Thanks!
Was this on 12-23-19?
Nope, 1/3/20
Oh, ok
TERRIFIC CATCH LAD.
SO COOL
WOW
"Roaring"? More like "Rocking"... Who invented that kind of track? A person could get seasick on that thing.
