Also i been watching gears of war tournament a lot. I like the playstyle optic teams have. Im going to support them by buying their add ons in the gears of war store.

Why are those maps banned? Impact, forge blitz, harbor, and reclaimed?
the teams basically take turns banning and then picking maps to decide what theyll play. so optic started by banning impact and then ghost banned forge blitz. then optic picked to play dam and then ghost picked lift. then optic banned harbor and ghost banned reclaimed. after that optic picked foundation for the last map. usually the higher seeded team gets to pick if they want to go first or second in the map bans.
Why isn't that kid on ghost gaming swearing and talking shit like he was in the other matches??? Hmmm keep that same energy..

Not rlly look how much people go on there website still for gamebattles and when finals are hosted on twitch how much people watch... Most peoplenalready seen Optic win live or know they have won.. why would you watch 55mins of a game thats not live and you know the result off.

This is why the gears scene is dying because the same team wins every event. What’s the point of having multiple teams in a sport when it’s always the same 2 in grand finals?
Bro trust me, the scene isn’t dying off. Prize pools are getting bigger and multiple teams can win. Optic is just really consistent at the moment with their new team. If you think about it, the majority of the tournaments for gears ultimate edition had the denial/enemy roster in most of the finals and viewership and prize pools were small at the time yet it didn’t die off.
iiNoxy I dont watch GoW but every time I get a notification, it’s a grand final between OpTic VS Echo Fox/Ghost Gaming. They have the perfect roster I guess.
Its getting bigger.. Competitive but Gears is dying public and for casuals which make the game most of its money so eventually competitive will die. As matchmaking amd servers are terrible public making more players look at other games
