Ayala's show this year was great, i just wish my band was able to see you at grand nats (we had reheasal when Ayala went on). Regardless, im glad that we were able to compete and represent California in the best way possible!
pumpkin462 My band came in third. While I did think this was a great show and performed extremely well, there was not very much musical content for the winds. The winds played MAYBE a third of the show. I 100% believe that what they did play was amazing and it is nice to see other bands who play challenging material on the move.
Thank God for a drum line and the pit because high school marching band would suck. Drum corps are cool but high school groups sound weak to me. Not to hate on them but no definition on the playing when it’s many students. It takes a lot of efficient individual and group practice to make that happen. Good show and entertainment though Ayala and much success to you in the future.
