I went and got a second opinion after you told me you wouldn't suggest a hysterectomy after a LEEP that didn't get all the cells. Decided to cancel the surgery and I get checked in Oct to see if the CIN 3 that was left at the margin regressed. I hope its gone 🤞
There isn’t a good published success rate as there can be so many variables. It often is very good at removing the abnormal cells but it doesn’t completely remove the HPV. So often we need to continue to watch closely after. But if you are getting all the tests done and follow up there is extremely low chance of it developing further towards cancer.

The purpose of Leep is to remove pre-cancerous cells and to send the samples for testing? Thx
