    People don't understand. They think Jovenel Moise was the bad guy. He died because he wanted to build a better haiti, with functioning roads, drinking water, electricity, which would put Haiti on a path towards development. To do that, he had to go through the oligarchs who have monopolies on the recourses and economy of the economy. They killed him for it. And if you listen to Jovenel Moise's speech before his death, he knew that he was puting his life at risk, yet he did it anyway. It's the same message that Jimmy Cherizier is fighting for. The political class, which has close ties to foreign elements which seek to keep Haiti where it is, must be toppled.

    • @hatinmyselfiscool2879
      @hatinmyselfiscool2879 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      The problem was he became compromising. He tried to talk too and cooperate with (foreign) interests in the country, that have destroyed the country for years. And he payed for it with his blood.
      This lesson has been taught too the haitian politicians since generations yet they still try too move against the obvious: they are not save in the western hemisphere. They have to find regional allies instead of looking for a peace with the european and the american. Go to cuba, go too the venezuelan if you have too, anything is better then what their supposed allies have done too them. Even if they get painted as the bad guys, what other choice do they have at this point? Further violence? It is time to let the slaves of the past become finally free of their chains that they have fought for nearly 250 years too get off their hands.

    The same thing western countries do in Africa is happening in Haiti 😔 😢 To divide and conquer has been their strategy. Whether that be supporting oppositions or the government officials to create conflicts and control resources. May God be with Haiti. Would also be great to see Haiti making relations with African countries to get diplomatic help.

    The foreign press loves Barbecue because he's always willing to be interviewed, but he's not even close to being one of Haiti's most powerful gang leaders. He may claim to have an ideology and a cause, but the ones more powerful than him have no ideology, no cause. They just target innocent people indiscriminately and terrorize the areas they occupy. They control the neighborhoods around all of the main roads into Port-au-Prince from the countryside and often demand exorbitant sums for trucks carrying goods to be allowed to pass.
    My thing about Barbecue is, if he's as powerful as the foreign press thinks he is, and if he supposedly fights for a cause while knowing politicians are backing the other gangs, why doesn't HE take the fight to those gangs? Why doesn't he take out Vitelhomme or Izo Vilaj de Dye?
    Because he can't. He wouldn't stabd a chance.
