Great review as always Mikey!.......still not tried Onyx Extreme as yet but LOVE Onyx!.....Sprayed Onyx yesterday and it was a hot and humid, muggy day but the heat of my skin and the dry down absolutely transformed Onyx....It was incredible! I must of looked a bit strange at work as I literally couldn't stop smelling my own arm LOL....ordinarily wouldn't think of this on a hot day....but it really transformed....so far LOVE all of Aarons fragrances...

I’ve bought 2 backup bottles of onyx because it’s on sale at the moment before it gets reformulated

I think the ambergris is super-important for both of these - my perception is that it's the ambergris that adds the "funk" common to both, and it's an ambergris really without peer. Onyx Extreme is BLACK dark in profile, to me
Hi mikey. I own both of these and gotta say I prefer the onyx. I find the oud in onyx a bit dirtier and more in your face. I think aaron has mastered rose/oud fragrances. My fav which is now discontinued and reformulated was luna. On a night out wearing that I would get non stop compliments
I bought the 2023-version, its pretty good. You dont like it?
Hi Mikey do you know if onyx is reformulated? I have the original which I bought a month ago and a sample of extreme and extreme is so much more potent and projecting.
I saw some comments on your channel onyx was due to be changed? Any ideas?

You definitely answered my questions about this. I will be picking up the Extreme for sure now as i need something with raspberry and Ylang Ylang as i don't have anything with those notes and have wanted something with them in it. I just wanted to make sure that there was a reason to pick it up while owning Onyx.

I do have one other question i should have asked before making the video, but is easy to answer in text. Do you ever layer them or are they just too strong for that?

You can't go wrong with either, tbh! Both are major compliment getters and are just so fun to wear
@@mikeycologne Thanks, i will keep that in mind for sure. I really like the sound of Extreme having that fruity side to it. I am working on my winter collection for this year, so OUD fragrances will be a bonus for that department. BTW TH-cam stole my heart from you (Man that sounds weird, but you know what i mean 😂.) I think it was because i edited my post during the time you hearted it, so it removed it in case there was something you may not agree with afterwards being added to the comment, which makes sense for them to have that mechanic.
Are you thinking about getting his Unicorn fragrance? £350 for the 50ml, i wonder how much the Elixir will be with the cool looking box.
@@AodhanBulger Nice, I find Onyx feels like an easier to wear Xerjoff Alexandria II in a certain phase of it, so hopefully it will help ease me in to being able to wear that fragrance as I like the dry down of Alexandria II , it's just the first 30 mins or so that is off-putting.

I use onyx extreme,but recently bought onyx,i like both,onyx i think is a bit more edgier slightly more rough,out of the 2 fragrances i like them both equally

I believe it is only Boss Bitch that is being reformulated. The rest are being done away with because they remind him of a bad time.

Really?? I remember his mentioning a current STOP on shipping to the US. I assumed Onyx Extreme would bring an end to Onyx. I’ve just purchased a decant of Onyx, it should arrive tomorrow.
